WASHINGTON -- With five weeks left until the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, organizers of a national memorial to the passengers and crew of United Airlines flight 93 are still $10 million short of a $62 million fundraising goal.
Now, the National Park Foundation, the charitable arm of the National Park Service, has announced a $2 million challenge grant to try to close that gap.
The foundation will match donations made through the Flight 93 National Memorial's website, dollar for dollar, up to $2 million.

In understand this was a national tragedy, but why all the pomp and circumstance to remember every year? 62 million? That is outrageous!

I have to agree, I am all about what the people gave, and they deserve a memorial, BUT 62 million dollars, thats INSANE! No disrepect, but I will pass.
