TRAFFIC ALERT - Crossroad Pipe Replacement Will Require The Closure Of East Trap Pond Road

Laurel -- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that the contractor, D.W. Talley, will close East Trap Pond Road, north of Shiloh Church Road in Laurel at 7 a.m. on Thursday, August 4. The closure is needed to remove and replace a large crossroad pipe for improved drainage. The road will reopen by 5 p.m. or sooner on Sunday, September 4, pending weather.

Northbound detour: Take Shiloh Church Road onto Hardscrabble Road and return to East Trap Pond Road

Southbound detour: Take East Trap Pond Road to Hardscrabble Road onto Shiloh Church Road

At all times, local residents and emergency response vehicles will have access.
