“Unfortunately, we are not yet having an adult moment,” Hoyer said.

“Unfortunately, we continue to hold hostage the credit of the United States and the economy of the United States and, indeed, the global markets," he said.

  4. Does he say that because they haven't bought into his plan? Oh he doesn't have one. Maybe he's suggesting the Republicans should buy into The Anointed One's plan. He doesn't have one either you say. So I guess the Republicans are holding the economy hostage by not standing on the sidelines with no attempt to avoid catastrophe and letting China either call our debt or let them take over our government.

    Way to go dummy.

  5. I guess that Hoyer, Mikulski, et.al just don't get it. In Nov. 2010 voters changed the House bigtime. The Republicans are now in charge because the electorate wanted change and not the kind that Obama was offering. All of those newly-elected Republicans know that they cannot falter in the mission to change the way we do business. Steny will just have to get used to it.
