If Gov. Jerry Brown signs a new California bill, the history of homosexuality might soon make its way into state textbooks. It would also be the first time a state has made gay education compulsory.
The bill, SB 48, would require California public schools to acknowledge the accomplishments of gays, lesbians and transgender Americans to be included in its teaching materials. Approved by the state Senate, it passed the California State Assembly yesterday with a 49-25 vote.

This is really what the gay agenda is all about...make it the norm in public schools. I don't want this taught to my children! Homosexuality should not be referenced in any schools.
ReplyDeleteWhy not? If it's part of the history of America, it should be taught. Stop being such a prude, 3:30.
ReplyDeleteWhy would ANY historical figure's sexual orientation EVER be relevant? Absolutely amazing....
ReplyDeleteRome is burning and we shall watch her fall.
This is forced molestation of children and every parents responsibility to protect their kids by any means necessary.
ReplyDeleteBecause 3:45 the importance of what someone does in the privacy of their own home is their choice and should not be public and it should not be taught to children in school. If my child went to a school in California and this was mandated I would be a home school parent. People in California are looney birds anyway. Who else would you expect this from. Time for Californians to have this put on a ballot for the people to decide not stupid politicians trying to get more votes from a certain group of society.
ReplyDeleteno religious exemption........ what about all the mooslims who say it is a crime punishable by death? let alone those who the homosexual people hate, "christians" or "jews"??? it is always stomp on Christian values and blame it on them, no one EVER mentions Islam or Koran as condeming it. wake up, it is a sham. Rome is burning. I never learned of an accomplishment in school that was based from sexual orientation, it matters NOT. what matters is a PERSONS accomplishment. does it really matter that Thomas Jeffereson (a Republican, in case u liberals wondered) was a hetero? nope, matters not one bit. Ben Franklin? G. Washington? Stonewall Jackson, Grant? does anything outside of their accomplishments matter in school? no, not really. its just more garbage being pushed by the Fem-nazi movement.
ReplyDeleteThroughout American history there have probably been many gays that we didn't know about who excelled in their roles. It is absurd to have lessons and chapters on gays who have been influential to our country's growth. Until rather recently, most gays remained "in the closet," so how do we teach about them? Only in California!
