A panel on legislative redistricting in Maryland has scheduled 12 public hearings across the state.
The Governor's Redistricting Advisory Committee announced the full hearing schedule on Monday.
The first two will be held in Hancock and Frederick on Saturday. Another will be held in Prince George's County July 25 in Largo.
After that, the panel will hear comments from the public in Rockville on Aug. 10, followed by another hearing in Baltimore city on Aug. 12.
There will be a hearing in Charles County on Aug. 24, and another in Harford County three days later.
August hearings also are set for Baltimore, Anne Arundel and Howard counties later in August.
They will wrap up on the Eastern Shore in Salisbury and Wye Mills on Sept. 10.
