What was expected to happen this morning at the Circuit Court on the Salisbury Waste Water Treatment Plant, (WWTP) ended within minutes.
The honorable Judge Simpson stated he was a resident of Salisbury and wanted both sides to decide if this was a conflict of interest.
While attorneys on both sides argued, Judge Simpson asked them to think about it and get back with him on their decision.
Anther hearing/court date will be decided.
What, never thought about that before today?
ReplyDeleteAnother waste of court time and resources. Couldn't this have been decided earlier?
ReplyDeleteJust a good example of our wonderful judicial system , wait , wait , wait maybe this , maybe that. Cancell until my golf game is ended. Any lawyers got time to play today? Just post-pone everything.
ReplyDeleteHe's just finding out that he is a resident , wow , this is the kind of judges that we have.

Does anyone know where we can find out how much the 'upgrade' cost AND how much the ongoing legal proceedings are costing us? I think it should be on their website somewhere but i couldn't find it.
ReplyDeleteThanks
I beliebe the original cost was around $84,000,000.00. To FIX what is wrong will cost around an additional $60,000,000.00, excluding legal fees.
ReplyDeleteTotal, $140,000,000.00
you can buy a lot of septic tanks for 140 mil....
