  2. Yes. Just at home. It is a reflective day for me. I think of those who didn't come home. I thank God for my time in the service and to father children and enjoy life when so many were not given that opportunity. I thank those who were shoulder to shoulder with me and more to those who died in battle. And send blessings to the families who lost their loved ones.

  3. Relaxing and preparing to return to work tomorrow. Will also think about how thankful I am to have people who have served our country and sacrificed so much.

  4. Yes, at home. A highly reflective day. As a former veteran, I thank God for the opportunity to father children and enjoy life when so many of my brothers were taken too young to do so. I thank them and pray for the families of the lost who died on distant shores to secure our FREEDOM!

  5. I'm remembering my patrol buddies that didn't come home in one piece.
I'm remembering my buddies who didn't make it.
I'm wondering why this country is in bad shape.
I'm wondering why we elected a muslim idiot president.
I'm just wondering why we support groups like the black panthers and the muslim brotherhood.
I'm wondering why the pepole of this nation have allowed the president of the U.S. to destroy our heritage.
I'm wondering why we haven't had a civil war.

  7. 11:49 I'm wondering the same, brother. To think we fought for what we have become is almost sickening. But, there is a "remnant" of patriotic Americans who will always remain faithful to the core beliefs of our country, USA!!

  9. Our Government sucks. The wars of aggression have nothing to do with our freedom - which by now is an illusion of the television.

We galavant around the world like thugs and spread depleted uranium weapons over people's homes and land. We are a sick Nation in dire need of prayer. I wish the soldiers would recognize that our Government is criminal and they would stop fighting for these bankers

  15. Newsflash: not everyone who disagrees with the Republican party worships Allah. Just thought I would clear that up. Seems to be a common misconception on this site. Another implied message of these types of attacks is that all muslims are terrorists. This is like judging all Christians based on the acts of Westboro Baptist Church, anti-abortion bombers such as the Army of God, and the Hutaree aka "Christian Warriors". There are extremists from many religions. Lets try to work towards peace and unity rather than war and hate. It starts with our collective hearts and minds. The words that you use matter. How would you like someone to use the name of Jesus as an implied insult?

:o) carry on, have a good day

  16. and on this day of remembrance for the devoted fallen
we should ask ourselves why we are still sending the young and most promising of this union into senseless off shore political wars and falsely martyring them when we should have them here and alive at home doing the good works in theirs and our hearts
if we hang our heads at all on this day it should be to devote ourselves that the loss of promising youth in this nation be it on streets or battle field is an inconciable loss of nations grace
we are smarter and value our own beyond making idealistic fodder of them
there is no pride in indoctrinating the innocent and then burrying them in empty idealistic pomp and circumstance
if anything on this day we should share the shame of the senseless loss of our fallen and maimed
if anything is disrespectful to the casualties of the great wars
its that we are still at it
that is what is saddest about this day
a Memorial Day should come that we pay due respects and take pride that we no longer fodder our youth and take pride that our freedom is truly righteous and not built on a foundation of graves and lost potentials
    AMEN

  17. 1043,1128. Go back to wherever you came from. No one wants to hear your ramblings. You don't have the wisdom of Solomon despite what your tiny little mind has convinced you of. Your logic is faulty. Your philosophy is more like a Russian socialist. And your attitude just SUCKS! So crawl or slime back under the rock where you came from!

  18. I love how fools like you say "your logic is faulty" and offer no support for your position. Go back to where I came from? Another stupid statement that gets tossed around on this site! I've lived here all my life, you tool. My facts are well documented. If you were not such a lazy boob you might do some research and actually learn something rather than just repeating things that you happened to overhear from other fools like yourself. You don't know a damn thing other than how to hate. You are both ignorant and hateful. You should be ashamed of yourself and your hateful ways.
