Users of Maryland toll facilities face what could be the most dramatic across-the-board increases in the state's history under a plan being developed by the Maryland Transportation Authority.
but but but...I'm a democrat, and I voted fo O'Malley, he promised no new taxes, he said he was gin to balane the budget, he said I would get a free pup and sunshne and free alternative energy...
Oh my! A politician who said one thing while campaigning and does the exact opposite after getting in office?! I'm SHOCKED! And all the while, I thought we would finally get a politician who would really "change" things. I didn't think he meant change (for the worse) our taxes, fines, fees, and surcharges. But I do take small comfort in knowing there is enough money in the budget for the taxpayers to hire a butler for our esteemed Governor. We DO need to keep our priorities in order, after all.
11:22.....so, in a liberal viewpoint, two wrongs DO make a right???? I'm not in New Jersey, and I don't know what that fat chump said (or promised to do, or not to do), but the point here is that O'Malley was all about "no taxes" during the CAMPAIGN. Every time he spoke during the campaign, he attacked his opponent for tax increases. NOW, his administration has already floated some very creative (using a polite term) methods of fleecing the populace. Quit spending. Don't hire a butler. And quit lying through your teeth. But, he's a politician. Might as well ask birds to stop flying.
Well they tried to stop me with raising the gas to very high levels now they will impede me with high toll costs; Democrats at workMay 16, 2011 at 7:15 PM
