Millsboro Man Charged In Fake Robbery

Suspect 1: Tiffani A. Dunn, 30, Millsboro, DE
 
Suspect 2: Robert A.J. White, 45, Millsboro, DE
 
Resume:  
Rehoboth- The Delaware State Police have arrested a Millsboro man and have obtained warrants on a Millsboro female and her boyfriend after they faked the robbery of a cash advance business on Thursday.
 
The incident occurred on Thursday, May 26 at approximately 8:20 a.m. after troopers were called to the Cash Advance located in the 19000 block of Coastal Highway, Rehoboth, DE for the report of a robbery. Upon their arrival troopers were contacted by an employee of the business, Tiffani Dunn, 30, who advised them that the store had been robbed by a male suspect as she was outside the rear of the store preparing to smoke a cigarette. Dunn advised troopers that the suspect punched her in the head, knocking her to the ground. She then advised that the suspect responded into the store and removed an undisclosed amount of money from the safe area and then fled on foot.
 
After further questioning, troopers learned that the suspect in the incident was an acquaintance of the victim’s and lived with her in Millsboro. Troopers learned that the suspect was staying at the Red Mill Inn located on Coastal Highway north of Lewis, DE. They then responded to motel and took Olin J. Vickers, 35, into custody without incident. Troopers were able to recover the money stolen in the incident.
 
Further investigation by state police detectives revealed that Olin Vickers, Tiffani Dunn, and Dunn’s boyfriend, Robert White, 45, had conspired to fake a robbery of the Cash Advance and then split the proceeds. All three subjects reside in the same residence in Millsboro, DE.
 
Olin J. Vickers was arrested and charged with the above list of crimes. He was arraigned at JP Court 3 and then committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute for lack of $6000.00 secured bail.
 
Detectives have obtained warrants charging Tiffani Dunn and Robert White with one count each of Theft, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, and Filing a False Report.  Their arrests are pending.
