Redskins Owner Dan Snyder Wants A Public Apology

WASHINGTON - Redskins Owner Dan Snyder says he'll drop his lawsuit against the Washington City Paper, if he gets an apology and a retraction within the next few days.

Snyder plans to refile his suit in a D.C. court Tuesday. The suit, previously filed in New York, claims the paper published false and reckless claims about Snyder.

Snyder admits making mistakes as the owner of the Redskins. He admits getting angry when his team loses. He says he can take that criticism, but won't stand false attacks on his integrity.

  1. I think he should issue an apology for turning the team into the biggest joke in the league!

    What a loser!

  2. Washington City paper shouldn't issue an apology. All they did, was put Snyder's history of mistakes in an article. One of the funnier ones, Snyders company purchased the peanuts from a bankrupted airline, then sold them to stadium-goers after the expiration date was well past. He's a horrible owner, he just doesn't realize it yet. Truth is, the article didn't get any buzz when printed, because everyone in the area is well aware of Snyders' many missteps as owner. It only got buzz when he filed his baseless lawsuit.
