  1. Since Maryland is so set on having Sin Taxes, they should tax the biggest sin of all -- being a Democrat.

Since OC charges an additional cent of sales tax, that means stopping in a bar will cost 10% for taxes and 15% for tip. That's 25% of your purchase. Since most beverages come from the bar, their register will likely charge the full 10% tax on a soda as well.

  2. Now I think they should set up border patrols to prevent that illegal alcohol from coming across our borders. Oh thats right we can't protect our borders so we have to raise taxes to help pay for that in state tuition.

  3. These are the people who "lead" us...I wonder, if they put this to a state-wide referendum, if it would pass with a majority vote....probably not. These "representatives" don't represent anyone except themselves. First, they spend money they KNOW we don't have on every possible whack-ass program and project they can dream up, spend their time and OUR money debating transvestite "rights" and such, then spend their remaining time finding new ways to tax, fine, fee, and surcharge us to pay for all their stupidity. Until the next election, when a whole new batch of "I'm going to CHANGE things" idiots convince us to vote again. How many times do you get burned before you learn???
