Bend Over America, Here It Comes

A friend of mine just sent me this image. He's driving a small box truck which cost him $208.50 to fill up his tank with diesel gas. $4.12 A GALLON!!!! $3.79 for regular gas!!!!

Yeah, I've got your "CHANGE" Mr. obama!

  1. SHOOOOOT BOY THIS IS NOTHING ACCORDING TO OBAMA-NET. You be looking at $8.00 a gallon soon. The break down of change and disruption of the American people is working according to OBAMA-NET.

Obama CHILLS OUT IN HIS ESCALADE while listening to loud BOOM-BOOM music and leans back in his seat

  2. Obama does not care about us paying $4.00+ for a gallon of gas! He is a disgrace!

  3. If it gets to $5 a gallon, people that have small cars with a 20 gallon tank will be spending $100 for a full tank.

Household budgets and charities may take it on the chin in times like these.

Drill here, we have to get out of this debt some how without the answer always being higher taxes.

  4. To anon 2:06 P.M.:

Call me a conspiracy theorist or not but this is exactly the plan of the government period... Why don't you think they listen to us? why don't you think they won't lower the debt ceiling? They want to raise taxes and that is their agenda... If prices rise for everything, aka supply and demand such like this oil crisis... Then they have the ammunition to raise taxes... Just like Rick Pollet, He wants to raise taxes and is doing anything he can to get it, even if he discuses it as a BOE policy to levy taxes... He like the govt also think alike... They will say well YOU WANT all these services and we just can't pay for them, we will have to raise taxes to do this... Instead of lowering spending...

  5. Why should Obama care about the price of gasoline? He doesn't pay for gas. He doesn't even drive himself.

  6. If George Bus did not have any control over gas prices, how does Barack Obama?

Liberal-minded commenters on here were shouted down over and over again whe blame was cast towards the former President. Did this President inherit more powers?

  7. Bush did not have control over gas prices, but the left blamed him and Cheney and their big "oil buddies",

So I think it is only fair to now blame Osama and his big oil buddies.

  8. 4:05, "wa wa, they did it, so why can't we?" Way to take the high road there. Really helps your cridibility in a debate.

To all the "drill baby drill" dummies, please note that the US is one of the world's leading oil producing countries yet we still have to import more oil than anyone else. Seems to me common sense would tell you that we can't drill our way out of this problem.

  9. 4:30

    This is 4:05.
I am sorry that you didn't get that I was being facetious.

I forgot that libs have no sense of humor and like to demean people. I will try to be more clear next time.

  10. 4:30 doesn't get it period. If the U.S so much as mentioned they were going to drill the price of oil would drop $20 instantly. They don't want to drill here because they are all lining their cronies pockets. They all own stock in big oil not just Bush and Chaney.

    ReplyDelete
  11. One can only hope that 4:30 is the first one who cannot afford to fill his/her tank.

Anybody as un-informed as this should not be driving anyway.

  12. 2:33

    What is your point?

I'm talking about drilling for oil here and not have to worry about how stable the middle east is, They're all nuts anyway.

I know, we only have enough oil here to last 900 years, I doubt I'll care by then.

*'um and the camel they rode in on.

  13. Try Googling up our existing oil wells and reserves. There's nothing there! We know it's there, but what's on the internet has nothing.
    Coincidence? Or lack of transparency?

  14. FACE IT FOLKS blame it on those we PUT im OFFICE. I remember back in the 70's when we had ODD / EVEN days and the Gov. said we need to do something on depending on oversea's to provide us oil and we NEED change and what have we DONE??? NOTHING but put back the same fools in OFFICE on a local and federal level to SCREW us and smile in our faces and LIE to us in the news / in papers / on internet blogs on what they are doing for us HAHAHAHA wake up people and CLEAN them out BEFORE we are CLEANED out

  15. How many times have I said it over the past few years. They'll take till you have no more. then they'll get you to borrow and only when Americans are totally tapped out will they finally admit we're in a depression.

    ReplyDelete
  16. 6:52, I guess you have some FACTS to dispute what I have said at 4:30?

For the rest of you complaining, you are probably the same dummies who have been going out since the 90's to buy the biggest SUV's you can find just so your wife can look cute around town grabbing groceries. You probably commute to work in your F150 even though many of you haven't hauled a load or pulled a boat in months. What do you expect to happen to gas prices, especially as the rest of the world catches up to the American consumer's habits? Diversify now and fast or be ready to go the way of the dodo. Till then, yes we'll have to change our behavior and pay extra at the pump. Glad I picked up a sentra!

    ReplyDelete
  17. YOu are exactly right Joe

    ReplyDelete
  18. 8:30, I'm with you! You don't need a big SUV unless you have 6 kids and a dog to haul around! Soccer balls don't take up that much room, so soccer moms don't have that excuse either. It's all about image to some people, so y'all shut up and pay your gas bill if you didn't buy an economical car.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Good post Joe you or GA should address what's getting ready to happen in Wicomico County. Pollitts finance director said in the DT Wednesday that a tax increase isn't really a tax increase. It is also rumored that employees at roads, p@z and public works have been told to slow their responce to the citizens, a ploy by Pollitt to get the tax rate up

  20. I WANT A GAS BILL BAIL-OUT WASHINGTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Keep electing those people who are more interested in lining their own pockets instead of ours and this is what we will get.
Stop voting for people who are connected to ANY special interest group, period! Then, make sure lobbying ENDS in Washington!
That's the only way to clean up all this mess we have in Washington.

  22. And meanwhile our illustrious new Congressman votes to keep Oil company tax breaks and subsidies.

Thank you Andy for looking out for the folks who voted for you....

And where shall we put those oil rigs anyway to Drill Here Drill Now- in my backyard? Come on folks we invented NIMBY!

    ReplyDelete
  23. 12:39 by Andy voting to give them tax breaks helps keep the price of oil down. So you should call and thank him. You don't really think the companies are going to pay the tax do you?

    ReplyDelete
  24. 2:04, so by your logic, tax payers should shell out public funds in the form of subsidies and tax breaks to oil companies making money hand over fist, then cough up the right arm and leg to buy their product. You must own Exxon stock

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well 2:04 your little theory is bassackwards! PRICES ARE GOING UP and OIL COMPANY TAXES ARE GOING DOWN.

Leave it to the Doctor who demanded health insurance on day one that he pledged to repeal!
    You sound just like him.

    ReplyDelete
  26. It is all part of the Obama agenda. In case you didn't get his message he doesn't want us to use any oil. If he had his way we would be paying $10.00 a gallon for gas now. We have plenty of oil right here in the USA but Obama won't let us drill for it.Enough oil here to last us at least fifty years without importing any foreign oil. Electric car, green jobs, global warming all BS to get us to stop using oil. Wake up America and see what is happening right under your noses.
