White House: More Women Are Educated Than Men, But Don't Get Paid As Much

In a mysterious inequity, American women earn about 75 percent of what their male counterparts make at all levels of education, according to a White House report that claims to be the first comprehensive federal evaluation of the status of women since 1963.

  1. This is so true but partly because traditionally women's priority has been to take care of her family. This shift is starting to change as women kick out on their own with small businesses where they have control over their destiny. In comparing male to female business owners, women are less worried about the bottom line and more worried about customer service where as men focus on the numbers. Because of this, women start off slow but grow a stronger baseline for their business for the long haul and still maintain their autonomy, flexibility, and control.
