  1. $7500 bond for a concealed sawed off shotgun with the serial number filed off? How many times you think that weapon and this scumbag have been recycled and put back out on the streets? No bond, you want freedom till the court date, work in the detention center kitchen and enjoy the nice tropical breezes coming from the exhaust fans.

  3. Maybe they will actually lock him up for a good while now. He and his brother have been running amuck in this County for years. His brother, Don Vass, is a known drug dealer and the two brothers were recently snagged for armed robbery. Looks like they didn't get much time to think about their actions.

Go to MD Judiciary Case search and look up these kids' rap sheets!

Don's includes driving without a license, FTA, failure to register vehicle, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, armed robbery, numerous possessions of CDS, numerous possissions of CDS with intent to distribute, assault, resisting arrest, disturbing the peace, theft, possession of paraphernalia and many others.

Dustin's includes concealment of a dangerous weapon, FTA, unregistered firearm, alteration of firearm ID number, numerous Possessions of CDS, numerous possessions of CDS with intent to distribute, armed robber, theft, assault, felony use of handgun in a violent crime, carrying a regulated firearm, burglary, handgun in vehicle, eluding police in a motor vehicle and many more!

There's a whole lot of nolle prosecutes and stet dockets in these cases! And just imagine what all they have gotten away with without getting caught! Looks like our system is failing us again! I believe Don is currently behind bars, but they both should have been locked up a long time ago! Why does our legal system allow these scumbags to continue to roam our streets?! If I had a single violation that they have, I'd get the book thrown at me despite my squeeky clean record!

Here are the SBY News links for their previous stunts:

  4. i have a question....can you tell me WHY in the HELL this guy is even on the streets??? he has a record a mile long and keep getting bonded out of jail. that is exactly why these criminals keep doing what they are doing, because the system allows it. there are people in jail that have no bond that did less than him. i guess wicomico county is waiting for him to break in and kill someone before they decide to keep him. WAY TO GO WICOMICO COUNTY!!!!! GOOD JOB.... SERIOUSLY wake up

  6. This guy is a menance to society. I can assure you that deputy stopped a crime that night. This is what we have out there.

On this note I have learned that three council members do not support a system that would enhance the budget of the Sheriff's office at no cost to tax payers. The placement of a couple of speed cameras in school zones could do wonders in aiding the public's safety. Just hope the true colors and intention of these three council members comes to light soon.

To the men and women of the Sheriff's office keep up the awesome work. The public supports you. I think if the public knew the trues colors of these three they would have never be re-elected.

Mike Lewis and staff keeping fighting for your people. The rank and file have faith in your abilities and dedication.

Joe thanks for the avenue to exspose the truth. Keep up the great work.

As for the three you know who you are and so do we. Three republicans turning on a republican Sheriff. Now we know why this country is in the shape it is in. As a life long republican I can only say weak links in the chain have killed our party. Rhinos at best. Traitors at the very least.

  11. this is just so sad. i can't believe these people are allowed to get bailed out! its insane. i was reading the previous comments and saw he is raising a daughter.

question: how is he raising a daughter when he is in trouble all the time and why doesn't social services have that child if he keeps getting into trouble while raising her? i don't know anything about him personally but that just seems pretty messed up. our city streets need to be cleaned up and these dealers and violent criminals locked up!! why do they get 2nd, 3rd and 4th chances to mess up again and again while others do not???? just a thought

  12. i looked him up on case search like it said in the remarks above...he is wanted again. WOW, he has a record a mile long. why are these people still on the streets. i dont' know alot about dustin but what i do know (or what i have heard) is that he is not and never has raised his daughter. from what i hear she is being raised by a grandparent thank god!!!!!!!!! i have never known someone to be out on probation and have this many chances to voilate it. look it up, you will be so shocked!!!!!! why wasn't he kept in jail. this is what happens to the criminals in this town! you want to clean it up but the judges keep letting them out again and again. what is wrong with the system??????

  13. Wow, My son went to school with them. Yeah, they were nice on the outside, but on the inside; vicious/conniving/manipulating, I could go on forever. Unfortunately, too much prison time, and a lot, a real lot, of drugs have made him 10x
worse. Yes, he'll end up killing, or get someone killed. He's still, to this day, running amuck in this twn; rumors of him drugging and raping women, robbing or planning to rob random people, or even un random apparently, selling drugs. He's extremely dangerous and unstable, not a good combination.I just pray the authorities get to him first, I seriously hope so!! He'll run though eventually, I'm sure he's on parole now. He'll snap,, and I hope and pray nobody gets affected by his pitiful actions and twisted motives!!
