WASHINGTON (AP) - A suspicious package is disrupting commuters headed to the Capitol.
The Capitol South Metro station on the blue and orange lines is closed.
Capitol Police are tightly controlling where people can walk outside the station Monday morning. Riders trying to leave the station were initially redirected to the Federal Center Southwest and Eastern Market stations. Other passengers were later allowed to leave by taking an elevator and exiting about a block from the entrance where the package was found.
