An Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter has been placed on administrative leave from his job at a Minnesota high school after he insulted President Obama’s intelligence and challenged the commander in chief to a fight.
Jacob Volkmann told Fox News Radio that he is under investigation by White Bear Lake High School, where he has worked as a part-time assistant wrestling coach for three years.
“They didn’t like how I was representing the school,” he said. “They said I was representing them bad because of what I said about the president and his policies.”
Marisa Vette, the school district’s director of communications, confirmed to Fox News Radio that Volkmann is on paid leave. She refused to say if his comments about President Obama sparked the investigation.

So much for freedom of speech. It was okay to threaten Bush and make movies about assassination.
ReplyDeleteWhat an idiot!
ReplyDeleteDon't publicly disagree with the chosen one!! This is proof of what happens when you do!
ReplyDeleteSo why is it that you guys swore out these types of comments were bad when made against Bush, but are now perfectly ok?
ReplyDeleteI disagreed with much of what Bush did, but I never doubted the man was doing what he thought was best for the country, even if he was wrong. Why is it that the right constantly spouts on about how this Pres. is "unamerican", a "traitor", a 'secret terrorist"? This is the language that is poisoning our political system just as lefties spouted poison by calling Bush "Hitler".
the left was signing this guys paycheck. you dont talk bad about the boss (unless hes republican of course).
ReplyDeleteThere was not one thing wrong with what he said.
ReplyDeleteWhen George Bush was president (and I, even as a Republican, didn't care for him), "Hitler" was one of the most MILD of comments made about him. They made MOVIES and billboards about his stupidity and incompetence. Entire comedy shows revovled around him and his presidency. The left was in glorious gales of laughter as he was called every denigrating term one could think of....NOW, when people are doing it to Obama, it's time to have some "civil discourse" and tone it down a bit, huh? It's called Free Speech. One of the rights guaranteed to Americans. Its NOT called Agreement Speech, or Happy Speech. Bush survived the insults. Obama will, too. Thinking people can discern facts and recognize humor and sarcasm, no matter how biting they may be. I'm waiting on the next Micheal Moore movie about a community organizer becoming President and then spending the country into third world status. Filming the unemployment lines and food bank distributions...approaching the bankers and asking for the money back...
ReplyDelete2:13, if only it were true. You hear people regurgitate the same bs claims about Obama that are spouted by the pundits daily with no regard to hard facts or context.
