Maryland Delegate Mike Smigiel Presents Plaque To Blogger Joe Albero From Sex Offender Bill

Yesterday I was honored to meet with Maryland State Delegate Mike Smigiel at his Office in Elkton, Maryland where he presented me with the above plaque that included the pen Governor O'Malley used to sign the new Sex Offender Laws.

I was absolutely surprised as I had no knowledge it ever existed or that it was ever considered on my behalf. Thank You Mike and Thank You Governor O'Malley. I will forever cherish this in memory of Sarah Foxwell and her entire Family.

  8. Congrats on this award Joe. Your coverage of this issue had been steadfast and informative to the community. Everyone felt the pain when this child was sadly taken from this world. Hopefully this legislation and your efforts will prevent another tragedy like this from ever happening again.
