Gannett Co. (GCI) said all nonunion employees in its U.S. community newspaper division will be required to take a one-week unpaid furlough during the first quarter due to continuing revenue declines.
Declining revenues, and yet they still manage to have pictures of Salisbury police officers with stories of Salisbury crimes, AND they spell their headlines correctly.
What? No similar requirement for the Union employees?

They are required to do this a coulpe times a year. I have two friends that work there and it is a least twice a year.
