  6. 9:22,
She's not up for another 2 years, I believe.

Google has nothing but Taylor's opinions on umpiring baseball that I can find. Anyone know where he works, how he votes, or anything else about him?

  7. Taylor is the head maintenance supervisor at the Civic Center. His wife is Mackes' secretary there also. He also umpires and referees numerous sports around the County.

  8. Is that the "Bruce Ford" that is the Comptroller for the Wicomico Board of Education???? If so, is that really a person that needs to spend City money like the way it is spent at Board of Ed?!?!?!?!? I say NOT!! How are this County employees going to get off work so much to have enough time to run the City???

  9. Taylor has family ties to special interest groups.

  13. 8:27 -- What planet are you on?

Mr. Ford does not make the spending decisions at the Board. And the City Council does not "run the City."

Now, go back under that rock, pleaae.

  14. I met Mike Taylor and his wife Tamara about two years ago. They both work at the civic center. A friend tells me he's got a brother named Randy and another said he's got a sister named Terri. That's about all I know.

Bruce Ford is not the board of education one. That Bruce Ford doesn't live in the city. The Bruce Ford running has an address on S. Park Dr. according to that chart.

  15. Thank heaven for the anonymous grand authorities who continues to post anonymous claims of who is backed by who based on their own personal agendas and speculation. The rest of us poor inadequate slobs are eternally grateful to you for your flimsy attempts to tell us what to think and how to vote.

  16. I have worked with Bruce Ford and he has the expertise that is sorely needed. He does not make spending decisions at the BOE. But he has held a very difficult job for many years.

  17. Mike Taylor is a good, hard working, salt of the earth guy. He is as good as it gets, but I'm sure people on here will find a way to trash talk him.

  18. the bruce ford running does not work for the boe. he is a pa and works at eci, he is also a paramedic for the berlin fire co. he has alot of common sense, he is the man for the job!

  19. Just to clarify, the Bruce Ford running for City Council is not the same Bruce Ford who has served on the Board of Education.

Bruce Alan Ford, the Council candidate, has a website at www.onesalisbury.org with his platform information.

He is a strong, hardworking, quiet family man. Eastern Shore native, career Paramedic/Firefighter at the Berlin Fire Company for 23 years and a Physician's Assistant for 7 years.

Thanks for your time and attention. This is an important election for Salisbury and it has drawn some good, viable candidates into the mix.

May the conversation remain civil and reflect the incredible importance to the citizens of the city.
