Among many residences we plowed today, we took on the West end of the Downtown Plaza to boot. I couldn't stand to see so many businesses and residents getting stuck going in tomorrow morning and having to tackle snow at least 2 feet deep.
We'll have more on this tomorrow. In the mean time, I'm getting too old for this stuff. The BIG question is, how many of YOU got out there today to help a neighbor?
We got out and helped quite a few. :) Our neighbors are elderly and are always first on the list. Thanks for being the example Joe!!!
ReplyDeleteChris, I want to thank you for your comment and offer. I could not publish your comment with a phone number on it but I will keep it for my records if we head out again.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately the snow blower quit on us on the very last home we were plowing. We had just finished the last strip and the blades stopped spinning. I'll drop it off in ther morning to be repaired and if its a quick fix we'll be able to do more, if necessary.
I should add, Chris offered to join us and help if we do any more snow removal.
ReplyDeleteHow many did it without having to get recognition or pat themselves on the back? Take a lesson from them, you conceited pig.
ReplyDeleteJoe, is the city responsible for plowing the plaza. They can not say they were too busy. I saw a public works man plowing the walking path around the park. How crazy is that. Shouldn't they clear the sidewalks first.
ReplyDeleteCan we play nice in the sandbox, please.

ReplyDeleteSurely you jest -- it's the property owner's duty to clear the sidewalk -- or get fined by Salisbury.
Wanna sell the snow blower..I will be glad to take over helping people..great Job Joe..Let me know I will EMAIL ya
ReplyDeleteI helped two men by paying them to shovel mine! So nice to see someone willing to work,,,,cuz I was willing to pay!
ReplyDeleteJulie, go on a diet, go to church, and stfu.
ReplyDeletetaking jobs from union employees?
ReplyDeletei dont care about the squabbles, but it did make me think about who i can go help that needed it,and i went out and shoveled two people who were 30 years older than me(im 44).it really is a big question these days though--how many people will go help a neighbor?i thank joe for leading by example and hope others do same.
ReplyDeleteActually Julie, how many people did YOU help? Let me help you answer that 0! You sat around on your fat butt and did nothing as usual. If people like yourself, JT, JR, MD and WB weren't so buisy complaining that SBYNews does nothing for the community, then there would be no reason to dispute you and your "puppets" comments, so this is actually your guys' fault. So sit back, shut up and hang on!
ReplyDeleteMy question is..... It is constantly noted how far in debt wicimico county is going yet I see they are paying 150 dollars an hour for the school parking lots to be plowed while schools are not in session until after the new year when temps will have risen and the snow will have melted.
ReplyDeleteWow. Anyhow Joe I'm in the Riverside area and would be happy to answer any calls you receive to assist the elderly over this way. -Chris

Have you seen that girl lately? She looks like a rail. I think she's ill or something, she's so skinny. Not a pretty site.
That comment is funny though. Not in a good way either.
