"If this proposal is not accepted tonight, another RFP will be written. If that happens you will be able to bid on the property. Thanks for the inquiry." Jim I.
It's a firehouse and it needs to stay a firehouse.
There is an election coming up and everyone that votes to give this firehouse to Brad Gillis will be voted out of office. That includes you Jim Ireton!
Just know that he is clearly stating RFP (Request for proposal) which is different from a bid solicitation. Further proof that the city is looking for the best use of the property, not the best price.
FYI- The council does not have to accept this offer tonight! You can have your input before the vote tonight. What you have to do is sign up on the public comment form and put fire house. Anyone that wants to speak about this issue will be able to speak before it goes to vote. Pro or con (Letter to the editor today, pompus butt) speak up or loose it. Tax payers need to come and support tax payers. If I am gonna get it in the rear I at least can fight for my freedom to speak!!!
Who cares besides you Joe?
ReplyDeleteSome do care. I hope you get it Joe. Your ideas for it are great.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 12:08, Your obviously a nobody.
Tom Sawyer

ReplyDeleteWho does Ireton think he is fooling? He knows the council trio will give this building away to Gillis. This is a feeble attempt at pacifying you.
