  1. I'm glad to hear that the store owner protected his livelihood. Unfortunately for him (or her) charges will most likely be filed. I hope not but, I would be surprised if they aren't. Hopefully there will be more information about this in the future (charges filed or not), I'd love to know what happens. Good luck to the store owner.

  3. Way to go store owner! If more owners would carry a weapon, there would be fewer crimes against them.

  4. Good for the owner but it doesn't sound good that he shot him in parking lot.

Charges will probably be filed but if they are, hopefully the jury will use common sense and clear this guy, as we all have had enough of crime.

Hard to say without knowing all the details. But you shouldn't be penalized for protecting yourself and your property.

  6. That's pretty gutsy to rob a donut shop; good timing there weren't a bunch a cops getting their fix.

  7. prob shld not have shot him!! If he was fleeing, the robber was no longer a direct threat to the victim. Look for charges to possibly been filed.

  8. This is murder, pure and simple. Not that I have any simpathy for the crook but this is a nation of laws. If the crook was killed while fleeing, it's murder.

  9. @404pm

this is not a threat at all, but lets say i was pointing a gun at you. i fired and missed. you grabbed your gun. i fired a shot over the back of my shoulder, do you still fire? im sorry, but if you dress up like a deer and go trouncing about in the woods after thanksgiving, i have no sympathy for you.

in other words, dont put yourself in a stupid position where someone has to defend themselves against you.

  11. Luckily for the owner, the event will be judged by his Creator, who judges our heart not out actions.

  12. 404 - 423 facts are facts you come to my place to rob me make sure you render me helpless cause fact is you wont get a second chance running to or from me. Call it what you want but a dead crook don't talk.

  13. 4:23 I don't know what pretzel logic is. Perhaps it means someone with a twisted mind. Pretzels also are produced without twists. If you wish to protect theves and robbers maybe you should get a job at ECI. Do not come to my home to commit a robbery. and say you have a gun, and expect to live.

  14. 5:24 you talk tough but I know who you are. You wouldn't have the guts to do any such thing. In fact you would surely be standing in your own urine with wet pants.

  15. The fact is the store owner saved us tax payers alot of money and justice has been served. You bleeding heart liberals that go around beating tambourines and singing praises to Hare Krishna is why our justice system is all for the criminal. You live by the sword then have b***s enough to die by it....

  18. The ironic thing about our justice system is...the store owner will be brought to trial and found innocent of criminal charges BUT the family of the dead man will file a civil suit which they will win & the store owner will eventually go bankrupt because of it. Ah, the good 'ole USA.

P.S.- So let me understand this FLEEING thing...if car A hits car B and car A flees afterwards, the cops can not give car A a ticket or pursue car A to stop them? Good shot Mr. Donut Man!

  20. I don't care if the robber was coming or going, he was committing a crime, and the owner had the right to shoot him.How many times has a robbery been committed and the perpetrator not only takes cash but murders everyone at the scene? Don't second guess the shooter because you do not know until you are victimized
