WalMart Steals From Customers

Isn't this interesting. If YOU or I went into WalMart and changed the pricing on an item, we'd be arrested. However, if WalMart charges you $18.89 per tank, (I bought three) and you go outside to collect those tanks, the price  says it should have been $1.07 less per tank.

It's no wonder Muir Boda, (WalMart Manager) wants to get into local politics so desperately.

  1. I have noticed at the checkout line that I have been over charged for items on several occasions. You have to really pay attention. They will gladly correct it if you catch it; however, you have to pay attention. Just think how many millions of dollars they profit every year by over charging customers because people really don't pay attention.

  4. I'll second the comment on 12:09....I've started to write the price on the shelf on my list, so I can compare. And yes, Wal-mart DOES overcharge EVERYDAY.....may be its hard to keep up with thousand of items, but then again, the Walton family is down to their last 150 Billion dollars, so it may be down to either cheating their customers OR cutting all their part-time help down to 14/hrs a week and slashing their already pitiful health benefits even more....So, out of their GREAT concern for the people that make the Wal-mart machine function, they opt for cheating the customer...I can understand the reasoning....

  6. I never get those tanks from Walmart. My son got one from there and they didn't seem to last that lo ng. I take my RV and Gas grill tanks to Midway Rv off of 50 and have them filled for a lot cheaper.

  7. We purchased strawberries. I needed aprox. 5 containers. They were not in the greatest shape and the price was reasonable at $1.50 each.. When I got home I noticed the reciept read $2.95 per container. My husband threw away the reciept...so form NOW on I watch them on the register. I went the next day and the shelf still read $1.50..cheat me once shame on you cheat me twice shame on me..

    Sometimes.

Far too often it is a battle to get it corrected. More than once I have been told the register is right the price on the shelf wrong. So just pay the higher price.

They used to have a guarantee the scanner would work and if not you got $3 extra. For several years they would not give you the $3.00 even though it was stated on every register.

They also offer to match prices from other stores this is seldom easy to get them to do. Again it is posted at every register. They often call a CSM to get it done wasting a lot of time.

  9. What I find baffling, is that many of you that are critical of the Waltons and big business in general for cheating you, are lining up at the polls to give them a tax cut!

  10. what i find baffling is why people continue to shop there if they KNOW they are being ripped off when then go there?!?!?! That makes NO sense. Beyond that, how about the aisles being blocked off by the rude employees with huge pallets to stock the shelves, or the 500 other people trying to get down the same aisle, or the extremely long wait lines at the check out. Go somewhere else like I do!!! Food lion is a great place to shop and you can save a lot with the MVP cards.

  11. If those are Blue Rhino gas tanks, they have quit filling them to 20 lbs. Keep the price down but less product.

BTW, anyone noticed the smaller cartons of OJ?

  12. Every wal mart manager I ever met has been fairly intelligent, but total scum as a person. They treat their employees likes slaves and squash all attempts for employees to have decent representation.

  13. This doesn't surprise at all!
I stopped shopping at Walmart Dec 31 2009. I had enough of the complaining employees in every aisle and their prices are not great at all. Now when I shop (elsewhere) I am relaxed, happy and greeted with a sincere smile. Somethings may be a bit higher, but my piece of mind is so worth it!
