BALTIMORE - U.S. Senator Barbara A. Mikulski (D-Md.) today released the following statement thanking Maryland voters.
“I want to thank Marylanders for sending me back to the Senate. You’ve stood by me before and you stood by me when I needed your vote today. I’ve always been a fighter and a reformer, and you can count on me to be your voice and your vote in the Senate. This election was never about my future, it’s always been about your future. It wasn’t about my job, it was so your kids can have jobs. It was never about this election, it was about the next generation. I am so proud to have a chance to keep fighting for you.”
WHAT were you people thinking???? Has anyone who voted for her ever written to her and gotten her "I know what's best for you no matter what you think" robo- answers?
ReplyDeleteYou are not fighting for me. You work for big, oppressive govt - not for the prosperity of Americans.
ReplyDeleteFurther, you are a classic example of why we need term limits.
Everything in our culture (American Culture) is about fighting and violence. We have wars on poverty, wars on drugs, wars on crime, wars on unemployment. But we never resolve poverty, we never destroy the plants from which drugs are made, we never solve the economic problems which lead to crime, and our government continues to allow monopolies in business to "outsource" American jobs.
ReplyDeleteHow about you simply cast votes in the Senate which are in the best interest of the regular American person? How about that? How about you simply look out for the U.S. Constitution? How about you stand up and state clearly that the 2 wars are illegal and based on lies?
Stop lying and start telling the truth. Stop being a politician and start becoming a real representative of the people who voted for you because the alternative was deemed to be a worse choice.
does she even know where the eastern shore is ?
ReplyDeletei hate baltimore
ReplyDeletesix more years be "represented" by a real live troll..Maryland,new york, california get what they deserve. Is it to early to talk about seceding from maryland so we can get some representation over here
ReplyDeleteHilarious. I'm cracking up at the sour grapes. It's crazy how American democracy is "the best in the world" and the electorate is so smart when a Rep. wins but both are suddenly false when a Dem. wins.
ReplyDelete8:35 I couldn't agree more. I think we should have the opportunity to be fairly represented. Baltimore always cancels out our vote. Wouldn't it be nice to be our own little state, have a governor we want and have the representation we want?
ReplyDeleteWhy why why would anyone vote for that woman?
ReplyDeleteMikulski says that this win helps the future generations and ensures their prosperity; apparently she isn't thinking about the present. What about the present situation in our state with such a high unemployment rate? People are still being forced into foreclosures, more and more individuals are being laid-off; so what about the current status of our state Barb? If you continue to only focus on the future, the current middle class population is soon going to be living out of cardboard boxes and the only future generations that you will have to be concerned with are from the government-fed, the government-clothed, the government-roofed democrats that see success in life as continual reproduction and integrity in how much more they can get from the Mr. Sam. But that's alright, you are more worried about future generations.
ReplyDelete8:18 - I have the robo-response emails to prove it. Saved them.
ReplyDelete8:47 - I am a Dem who has been trying to get rid of Mikulski for years. Every issue gets a response back that says "you don't understand, we need to take care of big business and govt and you need to like it because I know better then you whats good for country" Apparently she has alot of people hypnotized into believing her. I personally can't afford her or O'Malley.
Don't worry, that old bag will retire soon then someone like OweMalley will be appointed to replace her. It only keeps getting better here in Maryland. This is why we are relocating ASAP.
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to Thank me, I didn't and wouldn't vote for you!!! I am so glad that America has finally started to wake up, now what the hell is wrong with Maryland?! Are you kidding me, O'Malley!!!!
ReplyDeleteOMouthy, Mishorty are wastes of time as far as their political help to the eastern shore. But, we made mistakes in our own local county elections too! We have some real winners (sarcasm). And, some of them have people sold as well. We can always go back to the voting booths again.
