  2. not yet. we (the people) still need to be viligant and pissed off. we need to make sure these newly elected representatives do as theyre told! we still probably dont have enough to repeal the damage done. hopefully in 2012 we can finish the deal.

  7. So now if unemployment doesn't tick down to pre-recession levels in 3 months we can scream about how Republicans have failed us. That is about how long yall gave Obama to fix a historic economic collapse.

  8. Now maybe the stock market will have a bit more confidence and people will start making money again. I have no issue with people who take risks with their money getting rich it creates opportunity and jobs!

  9. The democrats have shown who they really are and this will follow them.

  10. 11:28 - You're so full of it.
You're right about one thing, the rich are about to get richer, that's certain but they won't create jobs, that's certain too.
It's all about the MONEY and MONEY buys our elected officials every day.
Get rid of the money and then maybe this country will go back to being great.
In the meantime, we're ALL slaves!

  11. wow alex. thats what youve got? i mention we gotta make sure the reps do their jobs and you say i can run with sarah palin? first off, sarah is better than what you guys have there now.
lets take a look at this...THE PEOPLE say no to everything obama does. he does it anyway. sarah does whatever she can to get a camera on her - meaning she would do what we said to get attention.
so, even though she may be dumber than a meat-axe (not saying she is - not that theres anything wrong with that), at least she would represent us.

  12. 1:12 she is dumber than a meat-axe. This is a perfect opportunity for Republicans to capitalize on their victory. Sarah Palin is too extreme. Even Republicans admit that if she runs in 2012, Obama will be reelected. I hope you realize that she cost McCain his election. I am relatively liberal but I considered voting for McCain until he picked Palin.
Why can't you pick normal cadidates like Scott Brown, Olympia Snowe or even Juliani.

  13. 11:28 the stock market today is much much much higher than when obama was elected, they are and have been doing quite well
and 12:28 is right, consumer demand drives job growth, not extra money in the rich's pockets... they aren't just gonna give out jobs if their business does not require it

  14. 12:28 You may be a slave but that's your choice no body is holding you back but you! Your either the idiot or the cry baby... If you think the government is going to make all your wildest dreams come true then vote for Pedro!

  15. 4:48 - Really?
I'm happy with what I've accomplished in my life and proud of my own accomplishments.
I said nothing about the government making my dreams come true.
However, I want the government to be FAIR and giving tax breaks only to the rich is not fair and it does NOTHING to improve our economy. They have money and because they make idle threats, our elected officials are too scared to do anything besides what THEY want!
I don't have ways to HIDE my money like the rich boys do, therefore I'm taxed on ALL my income, not just what I want to show up on paper.
IF I was making millions of dollars, I'd be happy to pay more taxes, especially if it helped get our country back to being stable again. It has nothing to do with handouts.
I've NEVER taken a handout. I've worked hard to be successful.
I USED to be considered upper middle class, but now? Not so much. So before you spout off about me being held back or being a cry baby maybe you should look in the mirror, I believe you may be projecting!
