Richard M. Pollitt, Jr., will take the oath of office for the second time as Wicomico County Executive at noon on Tuesday, December 7th. In 2006, Mr. Pollitt was elected as Wicomico County’s first executive joining six other county executives in Maryland. The ceremony will be in Courtroom 5 (formerly known as the Ceremonial Courtroom) in the historic Wicomico County Courthouse at the corner of Main and Division Streets in downtown Salisbury.
How many votes did he win by.?
ReplyDeleteAt least we have a Republican majority to keep him from repealing the revenue cap...hopefully they can keep his spending in check!
ReplyDelete12:38 - Name ONE TIME Rick Pollitt definitively said "We must repeal the revenue cap." I'll give you a head start - you can't, because he hasn't. But I bet you'll keep saying it, even though it's not true.
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope Rick realizes how he almost lost showing that he needs to step up to the plate and do the right thing and quit acting like a polititian. He has a job to do and run the county and not make decisions by taking the easy way out or which way the wind blows. I am very disappointed with the job he did with his first term as many are.
ReplyDeleteRick does want the revenue cap repealed, and I for one hope it happens. But he can't do it by himself, so you all can stop the blame game before you even start. Rick did a fine job his first term and I expect to see an even better second term.
ReplyDelete12:26 - the answer to your question is "enough." And when you consider the beating the dems took all over the state and country just for being dems, I'd say he won by a good margin.
ReplyDeleteRepeal the revenue cap. Now.
