Joe,
Our two & a half year old cat has been missing since Saturday, October 30, 2010. He is all white with green eyes, has been neutered and goes by the name of "Sox". He is not wearing a collar, as he is an indoor/outdoor cat & typically stays around our home or the neighbors. He has never just "ran off" before, so we are now getting worried. He usually sleeps all day & goes out venturing at nights but unfortunately he didn't return home Sunday morning. He is missing from Brown Road in Salisbury, Md (behind the state police) off of Dagsboro Road. Attached are a couple recent pictures of him. If anyone has seen Sox, please contact his owners at 443-859-4385 or 443-880-0223. Thank you!!
unfortunately Halloween pranksters often times uses cats for weird things. an outdoor cat without a collar is always in danger, especially at Halloween. I hope Sox makes it home safe and sound.
ReplyDeleteplease if anyone has Sox, bring him home. He is sadly missed!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck finding him, I hope he comes back.
ReplyDeleteThank you guys, he is very much missed. I hope he makes it home safe too. Please, if anyone sees him, let us know!
ReplyDelete-Sox' Owner!
I used to have sparrows like crazy and robins by the score, in addition to squirrels and rabbits, running and playing in my yard. That is until my neighbor let his cat start running loose...now, for some reason, there aren't many wild animals hanging around in my yard. I sorely miss them and the peaceful pleasure I received from watching them find insects and bury nuts (or look for them). I can't understand why they aren't around anymore. But I DO see that cat lurking about quite a bit....and I AIN'T too happy about it. Maybe YOU have an unhappy neighbor too....
ReplyDeleteHope Sox makes it home. Please get him a collar with a bell (gives the wild critters a little warning). Also, put your phone # on the collar, then we will know who to call about the scratches on our car that he is climbing all over.
ReplyDeleteSorry your wild animals aren't hanging around in your yard anymore. I don't live in the woods, nor do I have a wooded lot so I have no squirrels here. Birds are plentiful. And if MY cat is scratching YOUR car, my phone number is listed above, please use it. I will gladly exchange fixing your scratches for the return of my cat.

So happy Sox came home.
ReplyDeletepeople are plain out RUDE.
ReplyDeleteanimal owners post things like this because they want their pet back or at least to know that he or she is okay. and what do people do? get on here & bit** about what cats do to their wild animals and or vehicles.
first off, IMCLAIN- how about since you always see "that" cat running around, you call the animal control instead of getting on here complaining about it. the wild animals probably stopped coming around your home because they could sense your ignorance. and as for anonymous 5:02, how do you even know this missing cat had claws? that shows your ignorance as well. people have NO HEARTS. grow up.
Thank you to those who hoped Sox made it home. We are so happy to see him. He has a cold but is happy to be curled up on my pillow sleeping the day away. Even the little dogs were excited to see him. He has such a personality, everyone of us missed him so much. I rescued him as a baby, no bigger than my hand after someone put him in a box with the lid closed and threw him on the side of the road to die. We bottle fed him with cat formula until he was old enough to eat on his own. Just so glad to have him home and safe again.
