If you look closely at the picture above, you will note that all the Marines pictured are bowing their heads. That's because they're praying. This incident took place at a recent ceremony honoring the birthday of the corps, and it has the ACLU up in arms. "These are federal employees," says Lucius Traveler, a spokesman for the ACLU, "on federal property and on federal time.. For them to pray is clearly an establishment of religion, and we must nip this in the bud immediately."
When asked about the ACLU's charges, Colonel Jack Fessender, speaking for the Commandant of the Corps said (cleaned up a bit), "Screw the ACLU." GOD Bless Our Warriors. Send the ACLU to France !
Please send this to people you know so everyone will know how stupid the ACLU is getting in trying to remove GOD from everything and every place in America May God Bless America , One Nation Under GOD!
From the Halls of Montezuma,
ReplyDeleteTo the shores of Tripoli;
We fight our country's battles
In the air, on land, and sea;
First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean;
We are proud to claim the title
Of United States Marine.
Our flag's unfurled to every breeze
From dawn to setting sun;
We have fought in every clime and place
Where we could take a gun;
In the snow of far-off Northern lands
And in sunny tropic scenes;
You will find us always on the job
The United States Marines.
Here's health to you and to our Corps
Which we are proud to serve;
In many a strife we've fought for life
And never lost our nerve;
If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven’s scenes;
They will find the streets are guarded
By United States Marines.
Happy Birthday, Marines! May GOD bless you, every one!
OOOHHH RRRAAAHHH !!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you to all our service men and women protecting our freedoms at all cost. God Bless You All.
P.S.--- send the ACLU to Somalia instead.
These ACLU morons should be reminded of the fact that each of these Marines is a volunteer serving to protect their ability to speak their drivel. They pray as their hearts dictate...even for the thankless they protect.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to all Marines! I pray for you too!
Retired Marine!
Happy Birthday USMC!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am not a religious person, but I am an American, and I'll defend your right to pray. And if I am there, I too, will bow my head, out of respect to you, and the trust I have in you as a fellow American. It is my belief that religion was one of the tenets that helped the US evolve as a nation. Although I do not hold the beliefs of many, I repect the philosophy on which much of our government was based. The ACLU is useless and, along with other similar organizations, promotes racial amd spiritual unrest, in an attempt to keep the nation divided.
The ACLU is a wise organization...God had nothing to do with the creation and blessing of the greatest nation to EVER exist on the planet earth....we are not a Christian nation....Islam is a peaceful religion...prayer is an evil practice that must be abolished if we are ever to be a truly free country...the check is in the mail...and I love you too, baby. Now, a reality check------ GOD BLESS THE MARINES!!!! OOOOORAH!!!
ReplyDeleteIf they didn't want to pray, they wouldn't be praying!
ReplyDeleteEnough already with the removing of religion from our lives!
You've taken religion out of everything you can and enough is enough!
When I was in school, we said the Pledge of Allegiance every morning AND the Lord's Prayer!
Maybe if we went back to that, our kids MIGHT have a better chance at being better people!
God Bless our men and women who wear and have worn the uniform for our country and God Bless the USA!!
Anonymous 10:00 am: Go back to where you came from. And read your history book, even if you don't believe the Bible. America was founded as a Christian nation. If you don't like it, LEAVE! PS- And after all that you said, I'm surprised that you even said "God bless the Marines".

ReplyDelete10:28...Went right over your head, didn't it....LOL!! The first seven sentences were pure sarcasm -- making fun of things that are said as being "true" but are really a bunch of crap. Try reading it again. And calm down. You made my day with that crazy rant....all my co-workers are laughing at you too....
ReplyDelete10:51- I get it, but maybe the commenter doesn't understand saracasm as much as you. And if you and your coworkers are on this site and getting such a laugh out of it, sounds like you arent getting much "work" done. LOL LOL
