Fruitland - Percentages Comparison Yearly Crime Stats
Something you don't see very often. The swearing in of a new Police Officer and a City willing to share their REAL crime stats. My hat is tipped to Chief Philips as he is combating crime with fewer officers but getting better results than anywhere else around.
Chief Philips mentioned burglaries last night, 80% of them in the past month have been solved and the final one unsolved will be solved in a matter of days.
You can click on the top image to enlarge it and see just what Fruitland is up against. The gentleman being sworn in recently got out of the Marine Corps. Happy Birthday Marine and thank you for your continued support.
Semper Fi.
ReplyDeleteHappy 235th Birthday to the Marines!
Are you kidding me?
ReplyDeleteThey're showing numbers are up by percentages with no actual numbers?!
The council is making decisions on a report like THIS?
Whoever did this report this way should be FIRED!
Well Done! Good Luck on your next career.
ReplyDeleteMike Phillips is an outstanding chief, and he's doing a great job. Anybody that doesn't see that doesn't know squat.
ReplyDelete3 or 4 years ago, Fruitland Police had a lot of problems, but now they're one of the best agencies in the area.
Thanks, Mike!
1:35 visit the web site and shut up!
ReplyDelete1:35, excuse me, but what decision was made? This officer is replacing an officer that quit. How about this, let's become informed, and then open your mouth.
ReplyDeleteRetired M.S.P. in charge of the the sheriff's office, retired M.S.P. in charge of the Fruitland Police Dept. Both departments doing an excellent job. What is the common denominator here. Great job Chief Phillips.
ReplyDeleteCommon denominator, 4:04?
ReplyDeleteThey're both named Mike.
And they're good buddies.
And they both really CARE about the people they serve.
And they'll both get it done regardless of who gets in the way.
Really...they have not solved the burglary at my home..it happened in October.
ReplyDelete404 retired MSP has nothing to do with it it is the grest men and women in thes depts. that make the cheif and sheriff look good
ReplyDeleteWho quit? If your talking about Buddy, it wasn't soon enough! Him and George were what was bringing this department down. Now it'll have a better reputation.
ReplyDeleteI am the one who posted at 1:35 and maybe a coupld of you should read my comment before opening YOUR mouth.
ReplyDeleteMy comment was about the REPORT not having actual numbers. It only has percentages of increase or decrease and apparently this is the information being given to the elected officials to base decisions on!
THAT was my comment but you obviously just wanted to once again pounce on another reader.
The crime of Theft should be up 500% because the City of Fruitland is stealing money from its citizens every time they send out a water/sewer bill!
