Fruitland City Council Repeals Sign Ordinance

Last night a smaller crowd came to witness the repeal of the former City Council Legislation on a new sign ordinance. All went well as the audience thanks the new Council for repealing the legislation and even applauded them once the vote was final.

I don't care what anyone says, the City of Fruitland is in very good hands with this new Council. If only Salisbury could take notes of how to act and respect the wishes of the citizens like Fruitland does. Excuse me, I was in a wonderful dream but I have now woken up to reality.

  5. Joe ... I would like to publicly thank you for all your help in exposing an ordinance that would have created an extreme hardship on our business' and customers here in Fruitland. The ordinance in question was repealed last night. Without your help in getting the word out the outcome may have not been the same. Also ... "hats off" to the new Fruitland Council for correcting (repealing) an ordinance that should never have been brought up for a vote. Many thanks to all who supported our cause. Gary Pusey

  6. Well I am going to thank Spencer atleast he shows up for this type of stuff. And I would also like to insert that he also brought up an interested side bar...that is He asked the council "is this bill going to be reviewed and reintrduced? Andy Mitchell stated "It will be going back to Planning and Zoning and be bounce around and probably would resurface but not anytime soon" So We may want to pay attention to such agendas in the future. Great question and way to pay attention Spencer.......keep up informed!

  7. Yes, I agree that Spencer is a great guy with a higher level of moral and intelligence than most of us here in Fruitland. How do I know you ask? Well, because he lets us all know. I mean he is the Good Lord's gift to all of us here South of Tony Tank and I just shudder at the thought that anyone would ever question his integrity or commitment to the Fruitland community. I'm just hoping he doesn't get the wrong impression by reading these ignorant comments that there is a large, and growing group of people in the area that are fed up with his behavior and arrogance. Keep up the good work Spencer and to quote 4:15 "keep up informed!" You see what I mean? People like 4:15 need Spencer!
