FDA Proposes More Graphic Warning Labels For Cigarettes

In an effort to convince cigarette smokers to quit -- and to stop potential smokers from picking up a pack -- the FDA's Dept. of Health and Human Services has proposed a series of larger, more graphic warnings for cigarette packs and advertising.

  4. This has to be one of the more idiotic ideas ever! Kids will just laugh at the photos. It will make them want to do it more.

    And 9:25 has it right.....they keep saying that they want to stop people from smoking altogether yet almost every health plan proposed by the left use the tax money from cigarettes as the funding source.

    They stop people from smoking = more taxes for everybody.

  6. Then by all means let's do the same thing for booze.Every can of beer,every bottle of whiskey-lets show them a jaundiced wizened human being who has wet themselves in the throes of a seizure and puking.Sounds ridiculous,doesnt it?
