A congressional document posted on the Internet confirms no one – not Congress, not the states and not election officials – bothered to check Barack Obama's eligibility to be president, and that status remains undocumented to this day.
It's because state and federal law did not require anyone in Congress or elsewhere to check to see if Obama was a "natural born Citizen" under the meaning of Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution, according the document.
The analysis by the Congressional Research Service, a research arm of the U.S. Congress, openly admits no one in the federal government, including Congress, ever asked to see Obama's long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate. It explains no one was required to do so.
Technically, the CRS is a public policy research arm of the United States Congress that is organized as a legislative branch agency within the Library of Congress; the CRS works exclusively for members of Congress, congressional committees and congressional staff in an advisory capacity, answering questions. The CRS memorandum, published and distributed to congressional offices April 3, 2009, was written to explain to senators and members of the House how they could answer constituents who were demanding to see Obama's birth certificate.
Authored by Jack Maskell, the legislative attorney in the American Law Division of the Congressional Research Service, the document was a memorandum written for the subject "Qualifications for the Office of President of the United States and Legal Challenges to the Eligibility of a Candidate"
Maskell confirmed to WND that the document is authentic.
It states:
"Concerning the production or release of an original birth certificate, it should be noted that there is no federal law, regulation, rule, guideline, or requirement that a candidate for federal office produce his or her original birth certificate, or a certified copy of the record of live birth, to any official of the United States government; nor is there a requirement for federal candidates to publicly release such personal record or documentation. Furthermore, there is no specific federal agency or office that 'vets' candidates for federal office as to qualifications or eligibility prior to return."

ReplyDeleteWhat you should have said was that neither Congress nor anyone vetted the eligibility of Bush, or Kerry, or Gore, or Clinton, or Dole, or any president or presidential candidate. NOT one of them, and so their status--and their statuses--remains undocumented to this day.
However, Obama has shown the OFFICIAL birth certificate of Hawaii, and the facts on it were confirmed repeatedly by the officials in Hawaii, and most recently by the governor of Hawaii, Linda Lingle, a Republican.
So...NOW WHAT?
ReplyDelete1) This matter should have been resolved by the DNC long before he was elected. If he is a natural born citizen they should have been more than willing to put forth the document rather than let the issue fester into a never ending boil
2) As far as I know, birth and death documents are a matter of PUBLIC RECORD, so why hasn't ANYONE published it.
4) A new law or constitutional admendment should be enacted to assign an unbiased person (only one employee) to perform this duty (Produce a CERTIFIED copy of necessary qualification documents).
5) By now I would have thought the original or a fake would have surfaced.
6) SHAME ON THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AGAIN..... SLF

ReplyDeleteAnswer: The matter was resolved. Obama has proven that he was born in the USA by showing the OFFICIAL birth certificate of Hawaii, and the facts on it were confirmed by the Republican top officials of the department of health and department of vital records, and most recently by the Republican governor of Hawaii. Obama's election was confirmed UNANIMOUSLY by the US Congress.
Re: "As far as I know, birth and death documents are a matter of PUBLIC RECORD, so why hasn't ANYONE published it.'
Answer: Birth certificates are private. But it has been published. Obama has published the official birth certificate, and the facts on it have been confirmed. Hawaii no longer sends out the original, not since the new short-form birth certificate became the official birth certificate in 2001. It does not send out the original to ANYONE.

It was short form not long form and Obummy was born before 2001.
Haven't you got tired of the kool-aid yet?
only those running for veep with McCain require vetting.
ReplyDeleteRe: "It was short form not long form and Obummy was born before 2001."
ReplyDeleteAnswer: The Certification of Live Birth is indeed a short form. Most states have now adopted the short-form.
Since 2001 Hawaii has sent out ONLY the short form, even to people who were born before 2001.
