Art Goetz passed away in his sleep this morning. I will provide more details about Art's time on this earth at some point in the near future. Right now we must deal with arrangements instead. I will say this however. Art and Dot Goetz raised 6 beautiful Daughters, one of which is my Wife.
Art served in the United States Marines in three wars. He was the director of the Wicomico Library System and extremely active in the Rotary Club for many years. He will be deeply missed by all.

ReplyDeleteArt was not only a Veteran of WWII, he also served during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. This man is a true patriot. My heart is saddened by the loss of such a great man. His wife and daughters are to be commended, living the life of a military dependent is not easy, it is especially trying while our country is at war. Thank you, Art, Dot and Daughters, for all you have given so that your husband and father may serve.
