Stunning: O'Malley Calls Illegal Immigrants ‘New Americans’

Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, in his first televised debate with Republican challenger Bob Ehrlich, repeatedly referred to people who come to this country illegally as “new Americans” on Monday night.

In response to a question, O’Malley called illegal immigration “a huge challenge for our country” and he said the federal government needs to “do a better job” of enforcing the nation’s borders.

He called on Congress to pass a comprehensive immigration reform “so that people who are here can apply for citizenship, obey the law, and pay their taxes and live in the full light and openness and transparency of our American society.

“I do not believe, as the former governor (Ehrlich) has said before, that multi-culturalism is bunk,” O’Malley continued.

  1. This is the New World Order.

It is Zionism. America and all other countries (except for Israel) need to open their borders and allow for the total annihilation of their culture.

The only culture to be kept in tact is Jewish Culture. The rest are goya (cattle).

The people who rule over us have been chosen by their god to be supreme.

  2. Does this shock someone? O'Malley has basicly declared Maryland as a sanctuary state during his term.

  3. I loved Erlich's retort about "new Americans".....if someone breaks into my house, are they "new family members?".... what a line!!! Being American is NOT just a geographical description, at least to me, it isn't.

  6. What he said referred to those that are here already. I agree with this, if they are here in the country already, and we don't have the resources to round them up and deport them in mass quantities, make them citizens and start contributing to the tax base. They work off the books now as is, if they were on the books the state would add millions in tax dollars.

Respectfully, we HAVE the resources to round them up and deport them. The PC police are preventing it. We would save far more money deporting then, than we spend supporting them.
What part of "Illegal" don't you get?

  8. Imclain, love your humor. I'm thinking about sending some of my family member's south and maybe take in some of these new ones!! :)

Anonymoues and Rob S, sorry guys trying to actually pin this issue on one party or the other might be a real challenge. We all know politicians will say anything to please the mass population, then do what the "hell" they want to do.

I don't believe there is truly anyone in either party who is going to take a stand to send the "illegals" back home and stop the flow from crossing our line. Should this be done? Anonymous, you are right on, why do we want to approve any type of criminal acts. The majority of people from any other country who live in the US have come here peacefully and legally. We have to admit to the raw numbers Rob S, it isn't so with those who are moving in from Mexico. Yet, Rob S, makes a strong point, and so did the politician . . . if the American bleeding hearts will not take action to stop the "illegals," and will not take strong action to catch and send home the "illegals" lets tax the "hell" out of them, the same us who are already citizens.
