Senator Colburn Reaches Out To Citizens & Candidates

Cambridge – Senator Richard F. Colburn (R. Eastern Shore) stated today, "Several concerns have been brought to my attention recently regarding the destruction, vandalizing, and theft of political signs in support of both Democratic and Republican candidates. The United States is a democracy that supports its citizens’ right to freedom of expression—and that includes the freedom to display political signs. Many have sacrificed their lives for these freedoms, which include the right the vote and to vote freely. Therefore, I urge all voters to respect the rights of other voters and their freedom to express their political views."
