I watched the whole interview, and was pleasantly surprised at some of the things that were discussed.
HOWEVER, one thing that I wished you had asked Rick about was the disposition of the landfill fiasco.
I seem to remember that promises were made about full investigations, heads rolling, etc.
But so far, little has actually been done, at least as far as public perception is concerned.
For some it appeared that continuing cover-ups were made....
Who was fired, who has paid any restitution, and how much?
What court cases are still pending, and what cases have been adjudicated, and with what results? Did the main perp get off with little punishment and why?
How about a follow-up session concerning this issue listing the final outcome of all these things?
Daddio, This interview went more than 40 minutes long. YOU never sent me a message stating this is what you'd be interested in hearing. Now that it is said and done, the interview is over. You are surely welcome to pick up the phone and ask Rick that question directly. As I mentioned in the very beginning of the interview, Rick will NOT dodge you or anyone else for that matter. Call him and get your answers.
I'll close with this. The landfill case was heard in another County. Rick Pollitt does not put the sentence on these criminals, a Judge does. Rick Pollitt DID his job. Davis Ruark did his job. Your question really belongs being asked to the Judges who heard these cases. Think about that one.
