Leaders Lead, Politicians Use Clichés
ANNAPOLIS – From Washington D.C. to Annapolis, incumbent monopolies are spending money their citizens don’t have while kicking the reality can down the road. Marylanders deserve a leader, not a politician. Bob Ehrlich is the only responsible candidate in this race honest enough to deliver the truth to Marylanders about what we can afford and how to create jobs for families.
O’Malley Kicks the Can, Supports the Status Quo: Governor O’Malley has no plan to fix Maryland’s pension system, which is $33 billion in the red. In fact, Governor O’Malley supports the status quo which is on course to drive Maryland to fiscal ruin. Bob Ehrlich is honest about the reality facing our pension systems and has a plan to fix it.
Protecting Priorities Means Protecting Government: Every answer Governor O’Malley gave today included protecting and growing government and increasing spending. Bob Ehrlich is focused on protecting Maryland families and decreasing the size of government.
Spending Money We Don’t Have: Once again, Governor O’Malley said he’ll spend $2 billion that Maryland doesn’t have to build mass transit lines. Bob Ehrlich is the only candidate willing to be honest about what Maryland can afford. He will build the Purple Line in a way that saves taxpayers upwards of $1 billion without losing rider capacity.
O’Malley Wants To Aid Illegal Immigrants: Governor O’Malley refused to say whether or not he would defund organizations that support illegal immigration. Bob Ehrlich was honest and pledged to protect Maryland citizens and defund organizations that encourage illegal immigration.
O’Malley Misleads Maryland About Casino Campaign Contributions: Governor O’Malley likes to paint Bob Ehrlich as a casino lobbyist but Governor O’Malley is the only candidate in the race who is being funded by large gaming interests. Penn National has donated $16,000 to the O’Malley/Brown campaign and donated $200,000 to pass Martin O’Malley’s slots plan.
Making Stuff Up About Standing Up To Big Utilities: Governor O’Malley took $33,000 from Pepco and subsequently gave them a $21 million government contract. Pepco was responsible for 240,000 residents losing their power this summer. Bob Ehrlich was honest about the utility reality in Maryland in 2006 and he is still honest about it in 2010.
Spend, Spend, Spend: Governor O’Malley’s entire job creation plan is centered on spending government money. Bob Ehrlich understands that job creation requires getting government out of the way. He will reduce regulations and reduce taxes on families and entrepreneurs to create jobs.
Taking Undo Credit: Governor O’Malley touts a U.S. Chamber of Commerce study giving Maryland high ranking in jobs innovation, yet that study is based largely on Bob Ehrlich’s tenure in office when 100,000 private sector jobs were created.
we need a "making stuff up" article on the O'Donnell vs. Coons debate.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, where is the proof. Dear lord, he will do this and do this and this. Show me how and stop being a shill.
