Like the mythological hydra that grew two heads for every one cut off, the controversial ACORN group has been reborn under a swarm of new names and poses an "epidemic" voter-fraud threat that could alter the outcome of midterm elections, GOP leaders warn.
David Norcross, chairman of the Republican National Lawyers Association, tells Newsmax.TV in an exclusive interview that the community-organizing group ACORN "absolutely" has re-emerged since it was disbanded in March 2010 following a rash of voter-fraud investigations.
"Some of the old ACORN groups are back at it again," Norcross tells Newsmax.TV. "They use quotas for registration. That encourages people to go out and sign up anybody, or nobody -- just sign up addresses and things like that."
Story continues below.
Norcross says his group has already received reports of voting irregularities "on multiple fronts."
"It's an epidemic," Norcross tells Newsmax. "It's laughable that the left calls voter fraud nonexistent. It's very much existent."
Two years ago, according to Norcross, the Service Employees International Union and ACORN were "joined at the hip." Even without a group named ACORN per se, attempts to manipulate the election will continue, he says.
"There's no question in my mind that the SEIU will continue those registration tactics, whether not any semblance of ACORN is involved," he says.
"But there's also ample evidence that ACORN has been reborn with a number of new names," he says. "What you want to look for as key words are 'community organization,' [and] 'justice, ' [or] 'working families.' Those are all key words, and we believe those organizations are simply re-made ACORN organizations."
Norcross says his organization, whose mission includes the promotion of fair and honest elections, has alerted its members around the country to be on the lookout for organizations bearing ACORN-related names.

ReplyDeleteIf Republicans win is it because Acorn helped them?
ReplyDelete3:20 liberal denial ? It couldn't be the failures of this administration could it?
ReplyDeleteThey let us know to expect it so we will not be shocked when we hear about voter fraud this fall.
ReplyDeleteThe computer voting machines without paper trails were created to make it more easy to defraud the American citizens out of their right to vote.
The right to vote is a KEY to our Constitutional Republic and should be defended vigorously. The fact that it is casually accepted as an every-election ocurrence is outrageous.
There are a lot of stories out there, about Acorn offices literally just changing the signs and continuing to run. Same staff, same everything, just under a different sign.
ReplyDeleteAcorn doesn't help Republicans....lol...if they win it will be because people realize that being 13 trillion dollars in debt (thanks to Democrats) is NOT a good position to be in....or may one in five Americans (the figure given by "60 Minutes" on Sunday 10-24-10) who are unemployed or under-employed are NOT having a grand time with the "hope and change"....or perhaps the Americans who pay taxes are tired of seeing their tax dollars fly out the window for no reason...or the homeowners who are watching Congress seriously (with the Democratic President's blessing) consider abolishing the mortgage interest deduction...or maybe they are just sick of Pelosi's painted on face....who knows? Pick one...
ReplyDeleteif they steal the electon, look for problems of a different nature. The kind not seen in about 235 years.
