With Earl Gone, Ocean City Expecting Busy Weekend

OCEAN CITY, Md. - Despite an early-weekend brush by Hurricane Earl, Ocean City expects to welcome a lot of visitors over this long holiday weekend and cap off a better than average summer.

"Our numbers are running I think slightly above last summer, and last summer was a good year.

We expect to top over 4 million visitors by the time we get through the Labor Day Weekend," says Donna Abbott with the Town of Ocean City.

One reason for the strong numbers? Great weather.
