With 615 Views on her interview, Von Siggers absolutely cannot be taken lightly on her race against Rudy Cane and Dustin Mills. The image above was taken yesterday along Rt. 50 heading east bound near Vienna. It's all about grass roots Folks. You can put up all those fancy signs and spend all that campaign money but this go around we're going to see who wins what.
It should be noted, I have been told that Rudy Cane does not look well. Has anyone else out there noticed this at all?
It shows you something doesnt it.
ReplyDeleteWhoever wins, Salisbury needs the candidate to play a very proactive role in holding the residents of these neighborhoods accountable for their welfare as much as advocate for them in gov. These folks need resources but also need to utilize what they have to the fullest. With that said, I love an underdog; go Ms. Siggers!
ReplyDeleteLooks like something out of a "Good Times" episode.
ReplyDeleteHow do you figure she's the underdog 12:58? I think not!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that people are watching the Siggers interview. They can see for themselves why she shouldn't be elected. From what she says, it's clear that she doesn't have the foggiest idea how our state government works. She says the state should have a line-item budget. The budget passed by the General Assembly is a line-item budget and the details of how our state money is being spent is available to legislators and the public online. If she doesn't know how the state budget works -- and it seems she hasn't even taken the simple step of looking up the budget online -- then she's completely unqualified to be in office. Likewise, if she doesn't know where the money from the sales tax goes (they aren't dedicated funds -- she should know that) then she hasn't done her basic homework on the state budget.
ReplyDeleteIt's ridiculous that someone could be so uninformed on the issues and be a serious candidate for office.
Dustin Mills is the only candidate for 37A who knows the issues and who will be a common sense voice for the Shore in Annapolis.
Hey Marc, if you had any brains you would have saved this comment until after the primaries. Now the Dems in 37A are going to support Rudy again. Now that you directed the Dems back to Rudy your friend Dustin doesn't have a chance in hell to win. The Minorities are going to win that district again. In 2002 Doug Scott was the best choice by far and Rudy SMOKED him 2 to 1. The Republicans will never be successful in this area because they eat their young. I voted early today and I only voted for 5 Republicans on the central committee and they weren't incumbents. I also voted for candidates that were not incumbents. It is time to CLEAN house.
ReplyDelete9:20 PM good move. Everyone should do the same. The central committee under the leadership of John Barkovitch has go to go.
ReplyDelete9:20 -- while I'd love to think that I have enough influence to swing an election, I somehow doubt that a sufficient number of Democratic voters will see my comment, realize their support for Siggers was misplaced, and then flock to Rudy Cane. I'm glad you think I have that much power but I really don't think I do.
ReplyDeleteBoth Siggers and Cane have weaknesses that will benefit Dustin. Certainly Dustin has an uphill fight. But Rudy Cane has been a disaster as a Delegate (his record speaks for itself) and Siggers is quite clearly uninformed and unsuited for the job. If people vote for the best candidate, Dustin will win in a landslide no matter who his opponent is. We all know, though, that other factors besides who the best candidate is play into elections.
