Wellesley, Massachusetts Public School Students Learn To Pray To Allah

  1. What is it going to take for this country to stand up for ourselves?
We are being held hostage by these people and we just stand there and take it.If that was me and my children at that place of terror recruitment...I would have gladly made it known that the situation was UNACCEPTABLE for american school children to be exposed to!
Come On America !! Now is the time to do something....Before it is too late!

  2. This is very scary. Americans need to wake up and stop this from happening. You will see by the lack of comments that Americans are naive and in denial so it won't be prevented.

  3. In a Christian nation (and it IS, despite the denials), we teach our children to pray to a God from another religion?? To appease less than 1% of our population?? What happened? Did someone from the peace-loving nation of Islam threaten to kill some more innocent children and set some more women on fire if we didn't start turning our children into Islamic warriors (read: killers)? Whichever principal (or college educated do-gooder with a liberal arts degree) thought THIS was a good idea should be fired today. TODAY. Before noon. Take their prayer rug with them.

  4. I'm a 3rd grade teacher in Delmar.

I teach 4 different types of prayer, Christian, Jewish, Islamic and Non Denominational.

Sorry but if you want me to let your kids pledge allegiance to the christian God, I'm also going to give them other choices.

I have been doing this for the last 15 years all over schools in the area. Never had a problem with anyone about it.

  5. 10:42..You wouldnt teach my children!! I can bet you that !!!!

  6. Anon 10:42 AM

It is a known fact that most teachers are far left liberal wingnuts. The fact that you have been doing this for 15 years is because 3rd graders don't know the difference from right or wrong so their parents are clueless about it.

Do us all a favor and leave your name and lets see if you will be able to finish your care with the WCBOE!!

  7. I have a problem with you teaching four different types of prayer. We as Christians are not "allowed" to pray in schools any longer. Why in the world would they be allowed to say prayers to any other religion. The reasoning behind Christians not being allowed to pray in schools in the division of church and state. Is this not a state school. The pledge of allegiance is not a prayer. It is a pledge to the flag of our country. I would prefer that you not even pledge allegiance to "our" flag if you are going to teach our kids to pray muslim prayers. You have no allegiance to this country if you will accept the fact that Christian kids cannot pray in our schools but you will teach them other prayers which should not be allowed to be said. Your only allegiance is to the "politically correct" and "socially tolerant" society that we are becoming and which will ruin this country. I am glad I don't have any kids.

  8. Americans need to wake up.

The best thing we can do is vote against EVERY Democrat from the local level to the federal level. Many if not all of them are strong supporters of Obama and his actions. Case in point, Jim Ireton (D)Mayor of the City of Salisbury!!

  9. 3rd Grade teacher.... what are you doing "teaching prayer"?? Churches teach prayer. Parents teach prayer. Schools teach "self-esteem", "victimhood", and "diversity" (ok, before the yelping begins, I'm merely being sarcastic there). And I want you to have them pledge allegiance to "the flag of the United States of America. And to the republic for which it stands". The "God" that the pledge mentions doesn't say "the Christian God", so it sounds to me like you have some socio-political agenda you want to indoctrinate. And maybe, just maybe, their parents don't want YOU giving them "choices". Maybe, just maybe, at the elementary level, children don't know they are being given "choices", but, rather, instruction. Just teach. Leave the religious stuff at the door. Less time on Islamic prayer and MORE time on reading, math & science. Just my opinion. I could be wrong.

  10. So which one of these deadbeat liberal teachers has been teaching Islam to Delmar Elementary 3rd Graders.

    Mrs. Cullen scullen@wcboe.org
    Mrs. Hill mhill@wcboe.org
    Mrs. King lking@wcboe.org
    Mrs. Lewis clewis@wcboe.org
    Mrs. Mumford bmumford@wcboe.org
    Mrs. Smith dsmith@wcboe.org
    Mrs. Throm kthrom@wcboe.org

This should be reported to all the members of the Wicomico County Board of Education!!

  11. I'm getting the feeling that the teacher should have never posted THAT liberal "everybody is OK and there is no absolute right or wrong, so lets just hug". I'm also willing to bet that her cirriculum may be undergoing a change in the near future. Delmar Elementary is now the "Harvard" or "Princeton" School of Social Change???? lol...

  12. teachers should not be teaching prayer at all! SEPERATION of church and state ring a bell? Let the parents handle spirituality and you stick to the basics. No wonder American kids are falling behind!!!

  13. I am also a teacher at a Wicomico Co. High School. I have been teaching for 22 years, and have never one forced a child to say the pledge of allegiance. If there were EVER children of other faiths, nationalities who wanted to participate in the morning ritual, the entire class would then say the foreign child's former pledge of allegiance. This practice has fostered years of international understanding in my classrooms. I have a former white student who years after reading from the Koran for the first time in my class- now owns/operates an Islamic cultural center in Baltimore!

how can you see anything negative in this? You would have to be un-American to find a problem with this educations inclusion.

  14. 10:42 well I hope that you are teaching them that the muslim "allah" and the Christian God are NOT the same. Plus you might want to add in the muslim mandate (according to the koran) how women are to be treated!

  15. 10:42 is a serious problem, this kind of indoctrination has got to be stopped.

Joe, is there anyway to find out the Delmar teacher who posted that?

    Please

  16. Sorry but if you want me to let your kids pledge allegiance to the christian God, I'm also going to give them other choices.

    What?? Let you?

I hope he/she is saying here are four types of prayer that different religions practice, use the one that suits your beliefs.

  17. My kid could teach you a thing or to.

  18. Hey dummy, the teacher included Christian in her list of prayers. The point is you yahoos can't have it both ways. If you want Christian prayer, you have to let in other religions. If you don't want other religions, then you can't exclusively teach Christianity.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hey "dummy" and I'm referring to 1:39--- prayers belong in church, not in school. No one that I know is asking for Christian prayers in a public school. What we want is the schools to teach and teach like they are in America....nothing "yahoo" about that. And whats up with American children being asked to recite the pledge of a FOREIGN nation??? The Pledge of Allegiance is not some exercise in "human relations" nor is it an English assignment. Its a statement of loyalty and commonality. Perhaps the foreign student would have best been served by having him learn the pledge of the country he and his family thought they would find a better life in, not of the one they left behind....its these attempts to make people of all ages "feel good about themselves' that I have a problem with...welcome to AMERICA...by all means, welcome. Now, BE American. I assure you, I'm NOT phobic about ANY religion or nationality. I just think we make way too much effort to celebrate other cultures...you want to "celebrate" being Mexican? or Iranian? Go back there and be all you can be. Here, In AMERICA, celebrate being American. Teach AMERICAN pride. American values. American language and customs. Thats the "melting pot" we are famous for....

  20. The problem is that Christian kids CANNOT pray in school. Don't you remember. Some yahoos objected to it. They were afraid their kids were being indoctinated with beliefs that were detrimental to their health. Kind of like the cross in the Mohave that needed to be taken down because some "jerk" who lived in Oregon or somewhere and had never been and didn't know if he ever would go to the Mohave desert might be "offended" if he did ever happen to go there. So if Christian kids cannot pray--no kids can pray. Seperation of church and state and that happy horse poop. Same with the field trip to the mosque. How many field trips are there to churches. I'm not saying there aren't any but I bet the first one that gets reported in main stream media causes an immediate lawsuit whether their kid went or not.

  23. I am a kindergarten teacher on the eastern shore. I teach kids to worship Satan, have everyday for the last 29 years. Before I retire I'm going to set my self on fire in tribute to the dark lord.

  24. are you people seriously falling for this?!?! "a 3rd grade teacher" "4 prayers every morning"

  25. My wife is an elementary teacher and teaches her class about christianity and the positive aspects that the Koran gives people unity, hope and guidance of an all powerful god. I own two convenience stores in Wicomico county and most of my customers are non-believers by their comments and behavior. The Muslim followers will own the majority of stores in the next 10 years. Allah promises business success to the faithful. The american people voted for change in the last presidential election. Those who join the Muslim faith will be economically saved in these poor economic times and continued deteoriation resulting in collapse of democracy. Give thought to our welcome while the offer exists. Prayer to Allah leads to male happiness and dominance.

  26. Where the hell were these other religions when this country was founded?
We have to include them now? Why?
This is our country. They wanna pray to their gods, go ahead. Leave me out of it and don't say I cant practice my religion without including yours.
    Poppycock.

    ReplyDelete
  27. 10:55 "while the offer exists"?? sounds like a veiled threat from the religion of peace to me....lol....remember....you're less than 1% of the population in this country...best to keep threats to yourself when you are outnumbered 260 million to 1. LOL.

  28. You’re going to a mosque and you didn’t know that there was going to be some sort of religious activity taking place? Didn’t the people who were in charge of the field trip already know that this prayer would take place as part of the itinerary? Hindsight is always 20/20 but perhaps someone could have found this out ahead of time and given people the choice to opt out. Or is this being narrow-minded and bigoted? I can only imagine that a lot of teachers as well as students were too uncomfortable once the prayer started to do anything but participate. What an awkward situation to have to be in.
