  1. Conservatives whine because these changes aren't taking place under their rule. Not to mention that their mantra of 100% free markets fails to take into account that companies are out to make 100% profit; they don't care about people or even this country unless it makes them a buck.

  2. Thank goodness I can keep my older child on my plan while she is still in grad school. Otherwise, either I would have to pay a fortune for coverage for her, or she would be one of the millions of young people without insurance. Thank you, Congress, for passing this.

  3. What a bunch of friggin socialists. Everyone makes choices in their lives. Some decide on a new car over health insurance. Some decide to buy a used car outright and get healthcare too. Some people make sensible decisions and some want everyone else to provide for them when they make bad decisions. I agree that healthcare reform was necessary but not like this. This is socialism and it is designed to eliminate private insurance so that the Government is wide open to provide it universally.

  4. Hopefully 1:33 won't be stricken with sickness/serious injury that forces him/her to lose that job and healthcare. But I guess the millions of people in this scenario chose to be there.

  5. Anon 1:33, how is this socialism? I can now keep my kids insured until they are 26. They are in jobs that don't offer insurance. I am still paying their insurance premiums, not the government. All this does is prevent my insurance company from refusing to cover them as long as I am paying the premiums.

  6. It's Socialism because you don't have a choice in it and the government is running it!

  7. 5:03, dummy you still have plenty of choices for insurance coverage. No one is stopping you from buying insurance. Another right wing loon.

Guess what? Obama has been in for almost 2 years now. The planet did not self destruct. We are not living in Nazi Germany. And Armegedon didn't pop off. Now can we stop the antiObama insanity?
