Did Obama Pull Strings For New Black Panthers?

A new lawsuit has been filed by Judicial Watch, the Washington watchdog organization, seeking documents that may reveal possible White House political influence over the decision to abandon large portions of the 2008 New Black Panther voter intimidation case.

The move comes on the heels of revelations that a longtime Democrat operative was involved in a series of e-mail exchanges with the Department of Justice at the time the decision to drop most of the case was being made.

A summary of e-mails obtained under an formal information request revealed that Democratic election-lawyer Sam Hirsch was involved in the DOJ decision to dismiss the voter intimidation counts against several New Black Panther Party members.

The revelation appeared to contradict the earlier Department of Justice testimony that such connections to political figures were not a part of the case.

Now Judicial Watch is demanding, through the Freedom of Information Act, all records "related to meetings between Associate Attorney General Thomas Perrelli and White House officials regarding DOJ's decision to dismiss its voter intimidation case."

  1. Joe, here is an incredible video about Obama. You should watch it and if you like it feel free to post it. There is so much truth to it. What a message in the painting.

  2. Obama is in charge so of course he did! He has been the most racially divisive modern President we have ever had.

  3. Sure he did, because he really needed to do something to make inroads with the african american community in order to secure their votes.

  4. 2:17 He's racist and in his mind I believe he thinks this is Social justice.

  5. Well HE didn't and won't do anything significant. What HE will do is this: exactly as he is told to do.

He will speak the exact words he is given to speak. He will do the exact things (bowing, grinning, shooting basketball, etc) he is told to do.

President Obama (like his predecessors) is a puppet. We live in a miltary dictatorship. We are given 2 choices for each important seat in our government, but the obvious winner is always made clear from the beginning.

Senator McCaine and Daffy Duck were obviously going to lose the election. They were comic relief.

Senator Kerry (7th cousin and fellow Bonesman) was obviously going to lose to his cousin.

Vice President, Inventor of the internet, Global Warming Guru, Buyer of Google well before it was worth a nickel, Al Gore . . . was the designated loser even though a majority of Americans voted for him. In that example outright criminal vote rigging had to be engaged for the elite to get their man.

The next President of the U.S. already knows his / her identity. You can count on that. These things are not left to chance.

  6. 3:23 the new fad is for whites to scream "racism". All because blacks allowed the Sharptons of the world (white and black) to overplay the race card for their own personal agendas. Please show me where Obama demonstrates true racism.

  7. 4:40 It first reared it's ugly head when Obama said the white cop acted stupidly for questioning Prof.Gates and then never apologized when it turn out the cop did his job to the tee. And then there was the tanning bed tax not a whole lot of brotha's inpacted there. And now we have the DOJ being investigated for not prosecuting cases where the victims are white most notably the Black Panther case.Just name a few! Oh and lets not forget the famous Reverend Wright!

  8. Uh, I believe the cop acted stupidly and I'm part white. You mean to tell me if Obama was white and came to the same conclusion, he would not be considered racist?

Agree or disagree, that tax is in place because of skin cancer risks, a disease which would drive up healthcare costs (similar to tabacco taxes). Proposed taxes on sugary drinks hit the poor, which means a disproportionate amount of blacks. Is this racist?

And has there been a single piece of evidence that Obama had something to do directly dwith this. It may have happened under his watch, but calling him racist for the mistakes of his underlings is just as stupid as calling Bush racist for the mistakes made by his underlings during Katrina.

And here we come to the crux of the problem. Conservatives spout so much crap that by the time you wade through it all to get to the truth, you're so tired that you don't want to take the time to examine the facts in detail. Therefore you start just falling for the crap they sling in the first place (my paraphrase of Kerry's earlier quote).

  9. Anon 8:17 PM,

Oh lord here we go with the "I'm part white." What a lame excuse that one is? What is your other part? Seems like you and Obama don't know what the other part is, but the blacks claim they now have a "black" president. Nothing like using you "part" race when it suits you. IDIOT!!
