Suspect: 1. Eboni R. Parker, 18, Salisbury, MD
2. Saykina H. Purnell, 18, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 29 July 2010 at 9:09 PM, deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to Billy Gene Jackson Park for a reported disturbance involving approximately 50 individuals. Upon arrival, the deputies saw a large disturbance going on and realized that several of the individuals were involved in a physical altercation. The deputies attempted to break up the fight and attempted to arrest two individuals involved in the melee. Eboni Parker submitted to the arrest but Saykina Purnell struggled against the deputy’s efforts and attempted to go after another in the crowd which required the deputy to physically restrain her.
Both Parker and Purnell were transported to the Central Booking Unit where they were processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, both were released on Personal Recognizance.

Suspect: Male Juvenile, 14, Sharptown, MD
Narrative: On 30 July 2010 at 4:25 AM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle that had struck a house in the 400 block of Ferry Street in Sharptown, MD. Upon arrival, the deputy discovered that a 14 YOA juvenile had taken a vehicle from his residence without permission and began cruising around Sharptown. The juvenile apparently had trouble negotiating a turn and collided with a residence at the corner of Ferry and Fourth Street.
The residence suffered damage to its foundation and siding. The juvenile was returned home by the deputy after completion of traffic charges on a Juvenile Referral. The juvenile will be referred to the Department of Juvenile Services for adjudication.

2. Jerry S. Wright, 27, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 30 July 2010 at 8:22 AM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported altercation inside a residence in the 1700 block of Twin Lane in Salisbury. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the residents, Shametress Collins and Jerry Wright and learned that both had been involved in a physical confrontation. The deputy observed signs of injury on both and it appeared that they both had assaulted each other.
The deputy placed both under arrest and transported them to the Central Booking Unit where they were processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, both were detained by the Commissioner in the Detention Center, Collins in lieu of $5,000.00 bond while Wright was detained on $10,000.00 bond.

Suspect: Male Juvenile, 15, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 30 July 2010 at 12:43 PM at deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office observed a 15 YOA juvenile operating an off-road motorbike on Northwood Drive in the area of West Gordy Road in Salisbury. When the deputy initiated a traffic stop, the operator of the motorbike passed another vehicle on the left side while looking back at the deputy. Instead of stopping the operator accelerated away from the deputy. The subject accelerated so rapidly, the motorbike reared up on its rear wheel as the operator attempted to flee the deputy. The deputy pursued the motorbike into the Industrial Park and eventually managed to get the operator to stop at which point he was taken into custody.
The juvenile was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where the deputy completed a juvenile referral. The juvenile was released to a parent pending adjudication by the Department of Juvenile Services.

Suspect: Darrell G. Downs, 47, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 30 July 2010 at 11:23 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported altercation that had taken place inside a residence in the 28000 block of Glastonbury Drive in Salisbury. Upon arrival, the deputy met with a female resident who advised that her ex-boyfriend, Darrell Downs came to her residence and was visibly intoxicated. According to her, the pair began arguing when Downs allegedly head butted her in the face causing her to bleed from the nose. Downs then allegedly grabbed the phone from the victim so she could not call police.
The deputy later located Downs walking in the vicinity of the victim’s residence and placed him under arrest. Downs was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Downs was detained in the Detention Center in lieu of $50,000.00 bond.

Location: 1000 block of Beaglin Park Drive, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: 1. Timothy A. Sutton, 25, Salisbury, MD
2. Geoffrey M. Kilian, 25, Stevensville, MD
3. Michael J. Feher, 24, Easton, MD
Narrative: On 1 August 2010 at 3:15 AM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to an apartment in the 1000 block of Beaglin Park Drive for a reported noise complaint. Upon knocking on the door, one of the residents, Timothy Sutton, opened the door and exited into the hallway to speak to the deputy while attempting to only open the door enough to slide out, at which point Sutton closed the door behind him. The brief opening was enough for the deputy to smell the odor of marijuana emanating from within the apartment building.
The deputy made contact with the other residents, Geoffrey Kilian and Michael Feher and subsequently recovered a bong type smoking device, two smaller hand held smoking devices and marijuana. All three were placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Unit where they were processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Sutton and Kilian were detained in the Detention Center by the Commissioner in lieu of $10,000.00 bond each while Feher was released on Personal Recognizance.

Suspect: Larrell A. Jackson, Sr., 37, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 2 August 2010 at 2:09 AM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported altercation that had occurred inside a residence in the 700 block of N. Westover Drive. Upon arrival, the deputy met with a female victim who advised that she had been involved in a verbal altercation with her husband that turned physical. Her husband, Larrell Jackson is accused of striking the victim in the face and the deputy observed physical injury that corroborated that account.
Jackson was gone upon the initial arrival of the deputy but he was found walking on Isabella Street and taken into custody. Jackson was transported to the Central Booking unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Jackson was detained in the Detention Center in lieu of $3,000.00 bond.

Incident: Unauthorized Use / DUI
Date of Incident: 31 July 2010
Location: 27000 block of Edgewood Circle, Hebron, MD
Suspect: John D. Kline, 50, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 31 July 2010 at 8:55 AM, a deputy began an investigation into the Unauthorized Use of a Motor vehicle in the Hebron area. The deputy learned that a vehicle owner loaned John Kline a truck to go to the grocery store and back on the previous day. Instead of returning on time, Kline kept the vehicle and used it to drive around the area. During the investigation, the deputy learned of an address on Edgewood Circle where Kline might be and upon going over there observed Kline driving down the street. Upon stopping Kline at approximately 10:00 AM to investigate why he had the truck still, the deputy detected a very strong odor of alcohol emanating from Kline. Upon getting Kline out of the truck, the deputy observed that Kline had trouble standing up. After the administration of Field Sobriety Tests, the deputy placed Kline under arrest for Driving Under the influence of Alcohol.
The deputy also charged Kline with Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle for not returning the truck on time.
Kline was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Kline was detained by the Commissioner in the Detention Center in lieu of $3,000.00 bond.
