Last night (Mon) WCDC electrical
Power Completely O U T with no back-up power
Officers and staff in total Blackout for approx. 2hrs.
What a incompetent place
they are lucky something bad did not happen inside.
Only officers with their own personal flashlights
had one since the jail ones mostly don't work.
i would think that would be one place the county or city would have a back up degenrator or something in case of that.

so officers can't see who is at the doors, when opening them
look at the trash inside the control panel at central
look at the dirt/dust /filth
at the wiring,computers in the floor,thrown around, wires loose
and dangling all over the control
center like a kid wired them up
intercoms don't work at the Big
block control centers, so officers
can't communicate, radio batterys
die as soon as officers put them on
junk equipment,control panels are
junk, switches reversed, out of order
looks like a Frat House
this is the only jail in the whole country

He was seriously injured and will
probabley Sue the jail
The good officer who saved the inmate, got No Credit, as is the
Norm here, he saved his life.....
The corrupt mngmnt here should be
Fired , and turn over the place
to the Sheriff Dept, ASAP

while the county gives out as much
as $ 10,000 Raises to the honchos,
who do much less, at the top.

county waists 2 million on the
civic center floor (not needed)
the jail waists more money on the
PIPE to micro manage the officers
to make sure they do the security
rounds (not needed) , when, they
already Watch the officers on
existing cameras, (instead of
watching the inmates)
officers have taken 4 pay cuts,
loss of july raise, loss of roll
call time, loss of half of their
Haz duty pay, plus 5 to 7 loss of
pay days called FURLOW DAYS which
adds up to Thousands of Dollars
Lost in their already LOW Pay,
which is $10,000 too low already
NO WONDER SO MANY HAVE QUIT

the second year, with Furlows,
Jul cost of living taken, roll call
time taken, Half of hazardous Duty
pay taken......
while, the new warden got a 10,000
Raise, the place hires 6 new officers, plus, gives them a
3,000 raise, the county spends
2million for the civic center floor
how do they expect the officers to
stay, after all that ???
Wicomico county just raised house
taxes 400 + and has Plenty of $$$$
ALL PAY TAKEN (STOLEN) FROM WCDC
OFFICERS SHOULD NOW BE GIVEN
BACK.....IMMEDIATELY, retroactively

WCDC facility has been reported
to DOJ by staff here, who know,
and have seen the Video of,
when he used Excessive Force against
a female inmate. It was Covered Up
and even the Local Yocal Court
system, and the County Gov't let
him off. This is one the FBI
may be looking into, and Should.
Well, lets see if our Gov't will do
it's J O B this time.
Kimball should be FIRED and Locked
UP, he is LONG Overdue
