If you're anything like me your peaceful day is about to come to an abrupt end.
That's right, the little rug rats are on the bus returning home.
The big question is, will they start them off with homework on the first day?
Or will they come running in the door desperate to change their clothes, jump in the pool, go fishing, play with friends or turn on the TV. One thing is for sure in this household, that TV isn't going on.
Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.
I just glanced at the clock and noticed the time...where does it go? Mine will be home, via bus at 410.
ReplyDeleteI met my little guy at the end of the driveway to welcome him home on his first day. No homework, not for him anyway. He said we had a lot of homework instead. Lots of papers for us to fill out. ;-)

ReplyDeleteI was just about to say that he will have a list of things YOU will have to do for homework, and I saw your post. I was right. I wonder how much more things they will have to buy now.
Back to school dinner, bacon cheese burgers(on the grill) pan fryed potatoes & pan fryed squash and onions. For desert fresh homemade fruit cocktail.
ReplyDelete4:33 wish I lived next door to you!
ReplyDeleteMy two boys had 20 minutes of homework! Both said their Principal told them they HAD to, and they love him so much that they got right to it. No arguments at all and I hope it keeps up all year. They read for over an hour each! I couldn't believe it, and I want Mr. Fowler to come to my house every night to keep them excited about school! And get this, they are talking about school uniforms at Prince Street - the whole staff was wearing them and it was great!
