Obama: Too Many Americans Still Out Of Work

President Barack Obama acknowledged Monday that the economy continues to struggle and too many Americans are still struggling to find jobs.

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama acknowledged Monday that the economy continues to struggle and too many Americans are still struggling to find jobs.

He also took Republicans to task for what he said was partisan politics that are standing in the way of passing a bill aimed at helping small businesses.

The bill "has been held up by a partisan minority that won't even allow it to go for a vote," Obama said in brief remarks on the economy from the White House Rose Garden. Obama spoke shortly after meeting with his economic advisers.

"That makes no sense. This bill is fully paid for, it will not add to the deficit, there is no reason to hold it except for partisan politics," the president added.

He also said that he'll also have other specific ideas on the nation's teetering economy in the days and weeks ahead.

  1. Obama cares about regular American people.

Dubya' also cared about regular American people.

The Clintons care about regular American people.

None of this even sounds right does it? Isn't it obvious these people do not care?

  2. Obama nauseates me when he complains about partisan politics. He is and always has been one of the most partisan political figures in the nation.

And I am also sick of him pointing the finger at everyone else....it's HIS fiscal policies and actions that have failed miserably...time for him to be a man and accept responsibility for his own failure and lack of understanding.

  4. How much longer will it take for people to realize the truth. This President is a Con-Artist and a pure Progressive Liberal that wants to rule your life. His slogans change word wise but means Government knows best, taking over your lives. His message of "Change you can believe in" has changed to "this Bill is fully paid for." The People finally realized it was not change you can beleive in. After the Healthcare Bill and all the other spending Bills, how long will it take for People realize they are not fully paid for. How are they being fully paid for if this Country is going further in debt by the second?
