Overholt is a forward thinker, capable of making the tough decisions and providing the quality service that taxpayers deserve. His website is very informative...it's worth the read. Chuck Martin was former MSP and has done an outstanding job over the years and we should learn from that lesson!!
Since Sheriff Martin became ill, current leadership has not impressed me....too many internal problems going on which tells me that those entrusted to run things in his absence are not steering the ship.
A lot of Worcester residents are saying they want a "get tough" Sheriff like Mike Lewis. This guy supervised and trained him. When you listen to what he says, you know he means business!
This guy is even more impressive in person. What an asset he would be for Worcester County. He isn't afraid of tough issues - addresses them head on with integrity. If Worcester wants a "Sheriff Lewis" - who better than someone who helped train him? MSP is called "Maryland's Finest" for a reason. Look at all the leaders that have come from the State Police - all FINE men. The only reason someone wouldn't want him is because they're working the good ole boy system and they don't want to do what it takes to be a true respected professional.
Go Carroll! Hope the voters of Worcester are smart enough to vote out the old school and bring in the change that is needed.
Best man for the job. No offense to the other three candidates, but Carroll has the experience both on the street & also on the admin side.
ReplyDeleteElection over.
Totally agreed. Carroll is the man for the job.
ReplyDeleteno brainer here. like 6:14 said, nothing against whoever is running against Carroll, but you'll NEVER find anyone better.
