ANNAPOLIS--Bob Ehrlich will meet with Maryland taxpayers on Wednesday August 11 and present his plans to lower the state sales tax. Ehrlich will hear the concerns of citizens burdened by the 20% increase in the sales tax imposed by Martin O’Malley three years ago, and will address the threat posed by plans being considered by the O’Malley Administration to expand imposition of the sales tax to 43 new goods and services.
That would be nice, but I dont see it actually happening..
ReplyDeleteTypical political BS.....why dont we discuss the FEE's you placed on us Bobbo?
ReplyDeleteI'm sick of the status quo, lets give Murphy a shot!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree. Ehrlich is full of rhetoric. There is nothing and I mean nothing behind his words. Look at the fruit he bore when he was in office:
1. Highest real property tax increase ever - by Directing the Board of Works.
2. Highest tag fee increases ever. He not increased automobile registration fees for cars, trucks, but also of all Class of licenses.
3. He imposed the flush tax!
4. The highest electric utility increase ever recorded - (Constellation energy utility customers 72% increase).
5. His renewable energy initiatives were absolutely pathetic. No sooner than he beats himself on chest taunting that he alone spearheaded renewable energy - (solar, wind, geothermal) - then he pulled the plug on funding and pull all but $500,000 for the entire State for his energy grant program.
I encourage you to get this information out to everyone.
I'm all for Murphy as well. I'm not over the flush tax yet. Ehrlich needs to promise to repeal the flush tax and 6% sales tax, not meet with folks to discuss it. Just do it as Gov Shafer would say.
