One of the biggest issues many have openly mentioned with Chris is that every time he comes to an event he's been drinking quite heavily and it's easily recognized.
Mind you, we've had plenty of other local politicians who are well known for attending events, arriving pretty trashed and or having quite a few once they get there.
I don't know about you but I find it extremely hard to take anyone who drinks heavily, seriously. The next thing out of their mouths is, I'M DOING IT FOR MY CHILDREN!
I believe Chris made an attempt several years ago to run for local office but didn't get very far then either. Sorry Chris, while some may appreciate your attempts to save this country, most will not take you seriously and you're wasting money and votes.
Too many of these newcomers think just because they got a little attention at a Tea Party, their primed for public office. So much so, some are willing to put their names into the ring, even though they pretty much mimic experienced candidates that they actually like.
I don't know about you Folks but the Tea Party and AFP people, (with all due respect) have caused a major problem for good candidates already announced or filed and in my honest opinion have jumped into these races while they're still very young and inexperienced.
Mind you, it is their right to do so and I applaud that. However, is the AFP and Tea Party trying to tell us that the people currently running with experience aren't good enough? I mean, I'd really like to know where they stand.
Rather than working with the experienced candidates, (you know, the ones they INVITED to speak at all their meetings) my guess is that they have decided none of them are good enough and they can do better.
Again, I applaud their interest. I can appreciate their frustration but running out of the gate early and believing they can win, well, you'll clearly see what happens at the polls. Oh, one last thing. I thought the AFP was a bipartisan group that isn't supposed to recommend/encourage candidates?
All in all, my suggestion to the AFP was to sit down with the experienced candidates, (which they have not done) and discuss their platforms. IF the AFP does in fact have ANY power at this time, they can ask these candidates if they might be willing to look at a few items that they may not fully agree upon and perhaps change their thinking. If they're not satisfied, THEN they might want to consider running. However, that hasn't happened as I have interviewed some of the people considering running and like I said, they jumped out of the gate way too soon and simply assumed.
I hope they ALL reconsider and rethink their game plan, sober.
These "fringe" candidates are a dream come true for the democrats.
ReplyDeleteive known chris for a while. hes a generally nice fella, but a touch spoiled and stubborn in my opinion (which isnt a good combination). however, one of the biggest things that you have to look at is his attempt to run. most people sit back and just complain about what should be done and what shouldnt be done. too seldom do we 'do something about it'. we have people getting out there and doing something about it now, and now were complaining?
ReplyDeleteIsn't Chris the only person to make it on the ballot for Wicomico County Council as unaffiliated? Isn't that something.
ReplyDeleteGreat Joe. Another personal attack. You are the baddest a$$ person to ever sit behind a keyboard that I know.
ReplyDeleteFunny spoof!
ReplyDeleteGreat article Joe. A bit aggressive but your right.
ReplyDelete@ grinch
ReplyDeletefunny...arent you do the same thing? sit back, and read joes blog every 5 seconds to make some stupid comment and personal attack about how bad he is?
dork.
Even your own Lindsey Graham says the following:
ReplyDelete“The problem with the Tea Party, I think it’s just unsustainable because they can never come up with a coherent vision for governing the country," he tells the New York Times in a profile for Sunday's magazine. "It will die out.”
Maybe it's time you stop waving stupid signs and start working.
I thought this clown was running for congress or something??
ReplyDeleteCorrect me if I am wrong?
Has he filed yet? He could sue or defamation.
ReplyDeletevote the way you always voted for the people you always elected and get the same result.
ReplyDeleteI would highly suggest taking the bandana off, putting on some khakis and at least wearing a button down, tucked in by the way. rough.

ReplyDeleteI agree
There is more people that dress like him than like what you are suggesting. It is called relating.
ReplyDeleteJoe: were you drunk when you wrote this?
ReplyDeleteThe guy looks like a dirtball
ReplyDeleteI am confused, the guy who helped start the tea party in Salisbury is all talk?
ReplyDeleteJoe: Better watch out, that pretty little Mexican of Chris' may come after you if you keep this crap up. I am sure she could take you easily. And no, that is not a threat, just a funny thought...
ReplyDeleteI take it not very many comments in support of Chris get posted. He has my vote. It is not like he is the only fallible human being running. However, I do know he is not in this for himself. it takes nerve to get attacked like this, especially before even becoming an official candidate!
ReplyDeleteDrunk & Dumb come people get real the Dems planted this turd in the punch bowl. Is this what the world is coming to. Drunken retards & lunatics. WTF Bugsy are you with this guy. Really.
